It’s great and staff are helpful. Just check the closing time first as I got caught out and had to do another 20 minute drive the following day. Very frustrating, 4pm is a bit early!

Arrived in a hired luton van with an old sofa had no problem unloading with nice wide gantry into skip with no steps to climb !Most importantly no charge which was great.

The walk way to each separate crate/skip is not disabled friendly. I use a walking stick and had to walk head down to make sure I put the walking stick down on where the metal bar are, I wonder whether this is a health and safety issue. Lots of parking and signs saying different types of waste for what area though.

My husband visited this afternoon not realising what the closing time was. He was sworn at by one of the male staff and asked what he was supposed to do with this stuff at this time. My husband said he'd go and come back another day but was grumbled at even more by the worker. My husband hadn't meant to cause an issue and was sworn at and challenged in an aggressive way before he could even say that he would have happily come back another time. Absolutely disgusting behaviour and I'm very surprised at this as most of the reviews seem positive

The old Mile Cross site was so much better.Just not enough space, and the parking bays aren't ideal for some. It's a rubbish site you might say lol

HUGE thanks to Stephen the Supervisor who was on his way home but personally took my item through the locked gate when he could see how much effort I had made to get to get to the tip for what I thought was on time! All with a genuine smile on his face.This guy deserves a raise! Thank you !! :))))))

Easy to get to, well laid out, and the staff on duty when I visited were kind and helpful. A big improvement on the old recycling centre even if it is a bit further away.As a bonus, afterwards I found the ideal artificial Christmas tree in the re-use shop. I'm really pleased I could get one second hand and the member of staff in the shop was really friendly too.
