Excellent, local service. I contacted Howard at the weekend after getting a puncture. He replied immediately, then phoned me early-doors on Monday morning before I could ring him! Came out within 3 hours, assessed the tyre(s) and recommended replacement of the punctured tyre and other rear (not unexpected given age, despite low mileage). Howard ordered new tyres, took the existing wheels away and return by 5pm to fit them on the drive. Brilliant same day service and I didn't need to leave the house - thanks!

Phoned Howard at 8.30am on a Monday morning with a flat battery. Despite being busy on another job, Howard got me back up and running before 10am. He was prompt, communicative, knowledgeable and honest - what more could you ask for?

Thank you Howard, for doing a great job of getting the car back on the road. A rear wheel had locked up after a period of not being used and also heavy rain. A quick call to HP maintenance and Howard gave us a time slot . Within 45 minutes of arriving he’d sorted us out. A really decent gent. Good value. He also does mobile servicing which I will use next time. Rare these days where someone does a job to a high standard, is professional and doesn’t try to rip you off . A great credit . I called Howard after I had a flat battery after being parked up all weekend I was stressed and needed to head to work Monday morning, great comms this guy answered first time whilst on another repair he advised price and would take around 3/4 hours to complete which after explaining my situation was happy to wait within 1.5 he was with me at the hotel car park had me up and running within 5 mins lovely friendly helpful guy would highly recommend and would definitely call again thanks Howard

What a truly great local service. Happy to help on the phone and fixed my car in minutes. Contactless payment via credit card was really helpful instead of messing around with cash or invoices. A really swift and helpful service. Will use again and everyone else in York should aswell!!Thanks 10/10

I found Howard on here (Google reviews) and decided to book my can in for a service and some troubleshooting around oil leaking. Howard was excellent, he came to my house and serviced the car on the drive. He found the problem of the oil leaking and fixed it with no dramas. Howards approach is upfront, honest and very professional. He was organised and didn't leave a mess on my drive! I'm happy to say I've found my new mechanic in York and wouldn't hesitate to recommend him to anyone else!
