one star is not enough to explain how bad this nail salon is, my sister and i went here my sister booked gel nails and i was booked in for nail extensions. We were not greeted nicely as the lady did not even bother to crack a smile to greet us. My booking was for 3:30 and my sister's 3:00 we sat down and my sister went first. They soaked the old gel off her nails but the lady did not put the tinfoil on correctly and the foil kept falling off! they left the foil on for way to long as it is a 10 minute soak and she had it on her nails for a good 20 minutes. It was my turn for my nails and i sat down they asked my age and i replied with 14, the lady then looked to a co-worker and she said you have to be 16! i was not told about this when booking over the phone. I wish i had been told about this over the phone before committing to an appointment. I understand that this is their policy but they should tell you what it is before you book. My sister's appointment was not good either nor was mine we will not be going back and would not recommend this to any one!

I have been going to Mint for years. Every treatment I've had has been flawless. Everyone is friendly and helpful. Alys and Kayleigh are always especially eager to help and easy to get on with. They all do great work there. Highly recommend :D Thank you girls x

Would not recommend this place for waxing. I cannot speak on behalf of the other services as I did not have them done. I did however get my lower legs waxed but the woman who did them left wax all over my legs and there is still hair on my legs even in the most obvious of places it’s no exaggeration when I say I’ve actually had it done better at home with wax strips from the shop. £17.50 for an appointment which was 45 minutes past when I was supposed to have it and then the tiniest of modesty towels to cover up whilst my trousers were off. If you’re a plus sized person I would suggest a skirt or longer top to help cover yourself a bit more. It’s just not worth it honestly you’d be better off doing it yourself or finding somewhere better.

First time going and what a lovely experience! I had my nails done by Katie for holiday and they look fantastic. She helped me pick a colour and took her time to make sure they looked lovely! Would go again, nice chilled atmosphere and helpful staff

Very nice place, I went there before my holidays and even when I booked the wrong service the lady had no problem with changing to what I actually needed.My nail lasted all holidays, great atmosphere, the ladies are really nice and professional

Booked my mom into mint merryhill as a treat and she really did not enjoy her appointment. She felt very rushed and not relaxed at all, this was supposed to be a treat for her and it was so disappointing. She felt as though the women doing her nails really just couldn’t be bothered. First time at mint and we will not be returning, better service and value for money at so many other places.

Nice enough but for the price of £55 for extensions, I would have expected them to look better, the lady cut my fingers 3 times too which was pretty sore. I wouldn't revisit.

Wrote on behalf of my mom Jenny:Visited Mint for many years and always had great service. In particular I have received treatments from Rachel on several occasions and she is excellent. Brilliant customer service and I always walk away feeling fantastic. Would definitely recommend. Thank you Rachel and the Mint Staff!
