We had ordered cream tea in advance and it was ready and waiting. Tasty but could have been a bit more generous.

The soup was so peppery, it was simply inedible. And, the place was terribly noise with the coffee machine running.Sadly, not recommended!

Don't have the Leek and Potato soup unless you REALLY like black pepper. I tried, but I couldn't eat it. I asked the man whether he had another soup as this one was far too peppery. He said 'that's just how we make it' and didn't offer an alternative or an apology.I decided to sit inside but regretted it as the noise from the coffee machine was deafening. Altogether a less than pleasant experience. The falls and their vegetation however were sublime!

Visited the falls and the tea rooms were open, surprising as Google reported they were closed. Dropped in for a drink. The man serving us clearly wished he was somewhere else, not a single smile or hello. Cleared the table for him, no thank you. We have voted him the grumpiest man in the village! Surprising attitude as everyone else has been really friendly on this holiday. The subsequent walk around the falls was lovely and we managed to dodge the showers so had a good day.

As the car park benefits the Waterfall Cafe, I was very disappointed with the attitude of the gentleman behind the counter today. The car park meter did not take credit cards, so as we didn't have any change -only a £5.00 note, I popped into the cafe to ask if they could swap it into coins.I was informed that I had to purchase something to obtain change. So as I had not other option, I was charge £1.20 for a bag of Maltesers containing 18 of them.We had intended to pop into the cafe after our walk for coffee and cake- however due to the lack of good customer service and manners- we decided to take our business elsewhere.Being Welsh myself, I was embarrassed that a person working in Wales could be so unhelpful to a potential customer.

Lovely little tea room, set in fabulous surroundings. Great place for a refreshment or two after the climb/walk up and down the waterfalls. Selling hot and cold drinks, sandwiches, jacket potatos, cakes,ice-creams/lolly's, Welsh cream teas and scones and more. There is a carpark nearby, but can get busy at peak times.
