Cactus Energy

Cactus recently completed a solar and battery installation at my house. Their quote was very competitive, and the quality of their package seemed better than other quotes we had. There were some delays in getting the installation done, however this was due to supply issues so can't blame Cactus for that one, although communication and updates could have been slightly better on that front. They did however offer some alternative options in order to speed up the process. The installation team were great and were happy to explain everything they were doing and how the setup worked. Overall, really happy with my experience and would recommend.

Cactus installed our 94kw solar system on our office in Wooburn Green. Matt who managed the project for us was incredibly helpful and responsive. The entire project was flawless and could not have gone smoother. Cannot recommend these guys highly enough and they even sent us some drone footage of the panels once up and running.

Been holding off from this review. On the whole pleased with the company. By the time they got fitted and had stock from their suppliers. My biggest issue is 8 months on and I'm still waiting for the paper work. Especially the MCS certificate. Hence the 1 star. As they said I would get this, and my payback calculations included SEG payments which you can't get without the realvant paperwork. If paperwork and electrical certification isn't an issue then I can't fault them, but if you want MCS certificate, then I'd look elsewhere as I'm still waiting.

They weren't our cheapest option, but you get what you pay for, and their expertise and support is worth every single penny.Gary and Tom made sure our installation met our needs and happily answered every question we could think of.

After contacting 5 different Companies for quotes, Cactus were the most informative and easiest to work with whilst being very price competitive without compromising on quality. Tom is always available to talk to and provides an excellent level of service. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them for any renewable energy projects.

I had a new roof fitted in 2023 and decided to look into getting solar panels built into it. My builder recommended Cactus Energy. I was very pleased with both the experience and the outcome: Cactus put a lot of initial thought into scoping the work to ensure the project was done in a way which would generate the best possible return, and the team were friendly and helpful throughout, keeping me informed and carrying out the work when they said they would.I am now near-enough self-sufficient in electricity for the summer months, and generating a good contribution for the rest of the year. The in-built panels also look really good.Overall, I'm very pleased with the result.
