Went to Sakura with two friends this evening to celebrate my birthday. We had a wonderful time. The staff were very attentive and nothing was too much trouble for them. They hadn’t been advised it was my birthday celebration but they obviously must have cottoned on to the fact as after our meal they brought up a chocolate mousse cake with a lit candle in it and played happy birthday to me. A lovely gesture. They also offered us all a liqueur. A great restaurant with lovely staff. I was only sorry that some of them had gone off duty by the time we left so I couldn’t thank them all in person.

I'd recommend that you give this restaurant a miss if you appreciate a quality Indian.Unfortunately, not even the basics of correctly seasoned rice was delivered.The lentil dahl was pretty awful, to be frank. Tasteless, I'm afraid. The sort of food I'd imagine was served in workhouses in the Victorian age .It's always disappointing to be served food in which you know you can do better preparing yourself, at home.In fairness though, the lamb bhuna was not so bad and was reasonably tasty.So 2 stars overall from me.

We attend Sakura very often. In my opinion the best Indian in the local area and beyond. Food always has great flavours and never too greasy or oily. Reasonable prices and the loveliest , most attentive staff. Highly recommend.

I attended this restaurant last night simply because I'd seen on social media it had won an award. I was so disappointed. The food, although well presented, lacked any flavour. It was very bland. The restaurant itself is tired and needs an update. However, the additional covered outside space seemed nice. The restaurant was busy as it was a Saturday evening, there were lots of staff, many just walking around. I will not return.

Drove past at lunchtime today (Sunday) noticing that they do a buffet today so popped in with the kids.Really impressed! The restaurant is really quite trendy & spacious, the food was really good.I was impressed with the quality of the food & the selection. Plenty of dishes to choose from. Something for everyone, even chicken nuggets of small children don't want indian food.The meat was nice & tender, the chicken madras was spicy but others went for tikka masala & lamb, the vegetable curry a very good blend, onion bhajis not over cooked & the papadums / salad was a nice touch.Staff were very friendly too.We are with question coming back soon to enjoy this lovely food again!

We came here for a warm dinner. We enjoyed the lamb and King prawn curries with parantha, plain rice, pilau rice and J2O drink.We love the spice level of the tomatoes curry and we are planning to go back the following day.

We decided to try this curry house for a take away delivery rather than our usual as we saw online they had won awards. I have no idea how. This was the worst curry I have had and I can not believe I wasted my money. So disappointed.
