Alton Water Cycle Hire
Came twice as the first time was enjoyed so much by my teenage kids. Good Merida mountain bikes with hydro brakes and not so good Kross mountain bikes with cable discs. Good loop with easy gravel and some steeper climbs on the far side of the lake. Good service but be aware that there is no easy way back if you puncture round the lake.

I'd only cycled a mile and a half when the wheel fell off my bike. When daddy asked for his money back they refused and blamed ME! I'm only 10 but I was riding it properly!

Recently hired a bike for the day, friendly staff and a very good selection of bikes to hire, which are all very well maintained.Site / cycle route is also well maintained with some beautiful views as you go round, with some great picnic sites.Good day out!
