Motorpoint Derby

If I could give anyone any advice it would be to never get a car from Motorpoint. Even more so this particular store. 3 hour wait time even though I had a pick up time scheduled. I’ve had a vehicle with them for 2 months and got an issue with the clutch. I commute on a motorway where I put it in 6th gear and cruise control the whole way. So I’ve not done anything to this car. £2239 I was quoted for the work, still within it’s 2 month warranty, I have also got 2 years extended warranty and assets protection. However none of this covers the issue. Absolutely terrible. Oh on top of that if you want to speak to someone about something be prepared for an hours wait to speak to a human! Please avoid at all costs!

Highly recommend Motorpoint Derby. Excellent services provided from stepping foot on the forecourt to driving away and after care. Martin was extremely helpful, knowledgeable and made the transaction so smooth and stress-free.

Shocking customer service. Bought a so called top class used car. Had it 3 months already handbrake failed now the clutch has gone and Motorpoint want nothing to do with it! Never again, please avoid!!!

Brilliant experience with Motorpoint. I was helped by Tom Slater who was amazing. We arrived and he was friendly and approachable. Directed me to the cars that I was looking for and gave us time to peruse. Asked him for some help and he was great, answered all my (many) questions and helped me with the process, it all went smoothly. He explained everything, I've never done PCP before so it was really reassuring to have him answer with patience and professionalism. I had an issue taxing my car and he helped and sorted it within minutes. I ended up getting all the bells and whistles, he could have convinced me to buy used chewing gum he was that great.I needed to collect my car on Sunday and he made sure to be there so I had a friendly face throughout the whole experience. Would recommend. I intend to come back to Motorpoint as and when I need a new car. Great warrantee offers and such a simple process. Thank you so much Tom.

The floods couldn’t of happened to a nicer place,as they say what goes round comes round,this business got me a county court judgement because they sent my wife’s log book to an address I’ve never lived at and unfortunately we got a parking fine which we never knew about and they fraudulently added a signature to try and cover their own back and lied,but our court day will come.The best is they registered the car in my name and the car was purchased by my wife and then had the log book sent to an address I’ve never lived at,absolute joke

I bought a red Alfa Romeo Giulia mid 2022 from James. He was absolutely brilliant no issues at all. If I could give 6 stars I would.

Attentive staff but wanting to sell loads of extras you dont need and watch for things like tyres that have been swapped for worn ones or slow punctures, etc. Just increasing profit margins but argue your case and get a bit extra in lieu of the new tyre you are going to need.might be an ideal to photograph tyres , etc. While on the forecourt. Otherwise good choice of cars.
