Cannot recommend Gemma enough! She has been absolutely lovely from the beginning and helped me turn a dress I wasn't quite sure about into my dream dress. She is so talented and I would go back every single time!

The service Gemma offers is second to none. I thoroughly enjoyed by 9 month design and creation experience of my wedding attire for our Viking Wedding. Gemma was a massive help in taking my ideas and putting them on paper, sourcing the right fabric, making suggestions for attachments and fixings and making the garments and altering my dress. Gemma works incredibly hard and her pricing is great value for the time, care and creativity she puts in to the process. I couldn't have asked for any more friendship, professionalism, creativity and perfection during the process. My only disappointment is that Gemma can't design every piece of clothing I wear. The garments she created were a joy and she took on board all my feedback. Gemma is more than I ever imagined and gives more energy and expertise to every bride and project than one could ever ask. Thank you Gemma for being fabulous!

Gemma was absolutely fantastic! She did great work on my wedding dress by creating lovely sleeves, adding a colour sash, and a few other alterations. She was was very friendly and professional, with a great eye for detail. I was so happy with the final dress and can't recommend her enough. Thank you!

All I can say is wow- Gemma is unbelievably talented at what she does!I ordered a dress from a bridal shop in October 22. It was ready to be picked up 6 weeks before my wedding and I was sent away with a dress that didn’t fit in the slightest! The shop hadn’t given any clear information when I ordered it 9 months prior or again when I was in touch with them 1 month before that they didn’t help with any alterations, so I was left panicked trying to find someone to help.Gemma came to the rescue and squeezed me in to her extremely busy schedule to make sure it was ready for my wedding day! From the first try on she took one look and knew exactly what needed altered and how to do it! Such an amazing skill. She explained everything that needed done, making sure I was happy with the work she was about to do on the dress. She was so friendly with a wealth of knowledge on all things dress making and alterations! I trusted her immediately listening to her expertise.I had 3 appointments in total, every time I went in I got more and more excited to see my dress taking shape! When I went in for my final fitting my dress couldn’t have looked more perfect! It fit me like a glove. I felt amazing on my wedding day and everyone commented on the shape and how it fitted. Gemma also added some small straps to my dress which wasn’t part of the original design and just gave it that extra touch that I loved. There is no way it would have looked the way it did on me without Gemma’s help and skills! I don’t think I would have even had a dress to wear at all with it being so last minute if Gemma hadn’t helped!I can’t thank you enough and I’d recommend her to everyone! Thank you again xxx

Gemma managed to beautifully alter my wedding dress from Wed2Be. It was quite a task as the dress had to be taken in 12cm at the bust and she completely restructured the top half so that it didn't gape and the entire dress looked like it was made for me. She also added a bustle for the first dance that held up well and created a custom cape for me that was complimented throughout the day. Absolutely fantastic seamstress, the dress was incredible after a few fittings with Gemma.

Gemma is an absolute sweetheart and does excellent work. I’m a textbook Procrastination Bride and she was able to turn my original dress into a masterpiece in time for the big day. Thanks Gemma!

Gemma did an amazing job of altering our outfits to make them perfect for the wedding. From the moment I took them in, right up to when I received the finished garments, the service I received was friendly and professional. Gemma understood exactly what I wanted and kept me informed of progress every step of the way. My dress was so comfortable on the day, and the sash Gemma added to the flower girl dress matched the other bridesmaid dresses perfectly. The little matching bow ties Gemma made for the page boys and the baby waistcoat were incredibly cute and the children received many comments on the day about how nice they looked. It was lovely that they were able to match the rest of the wedding party. I would definitely recommend Gemma and will use her services again in the future.

I cannot thank Gemma enough for helping me with my dress alterations! She is so kind, friendly and professional, I was completely at ease during my fittings. She was also able to alter an adult dress into a suitable dress for my 10 year old niece! She’s incredible, I highly recommend x

I can't thank Gemma enough for the alterations she made on my wedding dress and my bridesmaid's dress. From the start, Gemma was so friendly and easy to get on with. Throughout the whole process she always made sure I knew all the different options I could go for and would give her professional opinion to ensure I had the dress of my dreams. Despite having to move fittings due to covid, Gemma made sure my dress was ready ahead of schedule, keeping me in the loop along the way.On the day I received so many compliments on my dress and felt amazing all day.
