Bought a car from them in good faith 4 years ago.No issues until recent incurable knocking sounds.Car was previously an undeclared insurance job. Its now pretty much worthless.

My fiancé purchased a vehicle 27/11/2018, upon driving the vehicle later in the day the turbo began whirring from driving as low as 20-30mph. Upon returning the garage the morning after to explain the problem and ask for it to be fixed the attitude of the owner was extremely unprofessional, defensive, argumentative and unwilling to help, blaming it on my fiancés driving and knowledge of cars.My father a mechanic confirmed the turbo problems however they would not complete repairs so we asked for a refund, they refused to refund the full sum, beware of leaving what they claim to be a deposit" with them if something goes wrong with your vehicle they will not return the deposit

Bought a Chevrolet on 1/11/18. A first car for my daughter from the Stockton branch. Really good price and lovely car for the £895. Dennis was lovely and helpful. He delivered the surprise to my daughter who was over the moon. She took it for its first drive later to billingham and back where the clutch went! So disappointing. Adam was great at getting it fixed the next day.....however we were told we had to pay another £50 to get it sorted, if not I could have my money back!!! He obviously didn't realise I had paid £77 for 6 months tax, £226 for a first insurance payment and filled it up with petrol as IT was empty, costing another £52.00. Did I have a choice, no!!! I did something special for my daughter to help with her 3 young children, that she could never afford. So to the young man Adam, that owns the garage, you could have saved me that extra £50 quid young man!!!! Recommend you!!! Defiantly NOT!!!Update 3/5/19. After spending another £520 2months ago on getting this car through its Mot its gear box has gone and needing another £500 on it!!! We've had to scrap it. NEVER EVER BUY A CAR FROM HERE

Had a really good experience buying a car. Bought one car but wasn't suitable was able to swap for a more suitable one. Got three months warranty. Had a small problem with the windscreen and was sorted no problems. Would recommend Marwoods for a friendly and helpful service.

Absolutely appalling business. My partner went down to purchase a van and everything seemed perfectly fine he paid the deposit and told he could pick it up in a few days when it's been serviced and prepared. We Went down to collect van today and they then decided to tell him that it's a cat C write off and the owner is not available even by phone call, totally unprofessional.

Bought a car from here. Told it had FSH and they would get the paperwork proving this to me. Never did. My naivety. Problem with starter motor, amongst other issues and said they had it fixed it when the car wouldn't start. Phones them and got 'it was fine when it left here'. Lies. Unprofessional. Would never use again. Car is spare and repairs at best. Avoid. Avoid. Avoid.

Sold my family member a car, 2 days later the wheels start buckling and they had put the wrong wheels one the car, they take it back and swap the wheels around not replace them, the next week the car starts rattling and the engine makes loud rattling noises and the tracking is off the car turns to the sides when driving... They sold it with a year's MOT I have no idea how it passed in this condition. When we phone up to tell them they didn't care they used a horrible unfriendly tone and told us to do what we are going to do offered no help at all. And didn't sound like they cared at all.

Bought a van which was on the pricey side but as it was a garage sale with 3 months warranty I decided it was worth it.The van did develop a fault and was fortunately fixed under warranty.Fast forward a few months and imagine my surprise at finding the car was previously and insurance write off.Do your homework I personally wont be buying from here again. Having read through the reviews similar experiences to me have been labelled spam by the garage I assure everyone this is not spam and I bought the van from this garage in good fair and at no point was I made aware it was an insurance write off not worth anywhere near the asking price.My own fault for not checking I suppose but potential buyers beware
