My name's Drogowit and I rarely submit average reviews. They will be either 1 or 5 star and you can check my profile for more reviews.Before reading, please note I have not ordered fish and/or chips for my order as I fancied something else. Therefore I may have missed a hidden gem meal and instead I opted for something different.So.I ordered a jumbo sausage, mega burger, chicken burger and baked potato with cheese onion and egg mayo.Let's start with baked potato. It was a very decent and simple dish that was well-prepared and I enjoyed every single bit of it. Would recommend.Then we move on to the mega burger.... Probably used cheapest available meat, there were no vegetables or salad in it and bap was of dubious freshness. Would not recommend.Then we get to the jumbo sausage... I considered that one to be inedible. dough was old and hard to chew, and only forced myself to take one bite due to abhorrent smell of grease that would have better use in biofuel powerplant. Would not recommend. Photo of the sausage attached.And the worst dish: Chicken burger. By the gods, I ate alot of chicken-based products including burgers. This is by far the worst one I had in my life. There was just an old bap and a single piece of mechanically separated chicken waste slapped in the middle. NOTHING ELSE. Always freshest fish and great chips from here. Their scampi is always cooked perfectly. The staff are cheerful.

Dont get food delivered collect if you can.Food tastes amazing with nice crisp batter, only issue is we waited over an hour for it to be delivered, and when it arrived it was cold.

After a visit to Aberdeen hospital on Monday night, we decided to treat ourselves to some chips on the way home.The place looked nice & clean and the staff were efficient but the food....We ordered two portions of chips, two sausages & a pot of gravy. £16.20!!! I know that standing costs have increased but...We only live about 15 minutes from Inverurie but the food was already cold. The chips were hard & under-cooked & the gravy was tasteless.We left the majority of the food as it was unpleasant and poorly cooked.It is not very often that we treat ourselves to a takeaway so it was very disappointing & a waste of money. We won't be returning.

Placed an order for the first time today. Always a bit anxious as I'm gluten free due to coeliac. Needn't have worried - lovely standard haddock & chips gluten free, hot, fresh, great. Husband had jumbo haddock and also enjoyed thoroughly. Great to know I have somewhere local to get GF fish & chips. Cheers guys, appreciated.

Was in tonight with my friend and her son and mine ….couldn’t believe how Murray and his staff were with the boys amazing ,Murray our boys have spine high of your place since we have left you are amazing and the staff . Would highly recommend this place to family’s ….so kind Murray x

I think tonight will be my last visit. A few times it has been good, but too often it has been below par. Tonight was a real low.The chips were so dry. They'd clearly been kept too long. My king rib tasted really funny. It wasn't cooked.This standard of food should not be going out.

Very disappointed after reading such goodbreviews, the batter for the fish made it look 3 times the size it actually was, chips were as it they were cheap oven chips that had been bought instead of fresh homemade chips that our local chip shop provides, and it was all very greasy and he king rib didn’t taste like a king rib, curry sauce was watery and if no taste. All in Al a terrible experience and will not be back
