Formula One Autocentres - Nottingham (Lenton Lane)

Absolutely rude staff. I turned up early as I had work etc to get to. I knew they opened at 0830am but all I wanted to do is ask a question. Quite simply if they could get me in first thing as their car park bays seemed busy and if they held my tyres in stock. This would save me waiting 30mins to tell me oh we don't have your tyre. And all they could shout to me was 'doors open at 0830', 'doors open at 0830', but very aggressively. If you don't want people walking in then shut your roller door! You were clearly working on other cars so what was I to know if you had a busy morning or not?Won't be coming back here!

Very poor communication very poor customer serviceI had two jobs booked when I arrived at the centre the receptionist said I was “here for tyres”. I advised that there were two jobs on the booking to be told “oh no only tyres”. I reiterated I had a booking for mechanical work also and the receptionist looked on the Screen and said “oh yes, I’ve found your booking”. No apology no other comment except “you’ll have to leave the car all day! I’ve got two staff off sick”. My issue why? Very disconcerting start!!My phone battery died, so I called the centre to advise at 12:36 and gave an alternative contact number. The call handler advised my contact details would be updated. At 16:13 an unintelligible message was left on my original number from the centre.I returned the call at 16:16 to be told my car would not be ready that day as they had the wrong parts! Two questions. 1. Why was this not discovered until after 4pm? And 2. Why was my updated phone number not used?It is now 1.30pm the next day and still no contact from the centre. Will I ever see my car again? Why does a simple repair take so long? Why does F1 assume customers are quite happy about not having their car for in excess of 28 hours? Why such poor customer service?I have used F1 many times this will be the last

Took car in to have air con fixed that they flagged on my previous service. Left car with them for 3 days while they said they were waiting on manufacturer to get back to them on a price? Never heard that before. Claimed I needed a new condensor. Picked car up on 3rd day and they said they'd get back to me with quote once manufacturer did. Never heard anything, took car to wilford Lane garage who tested everything. Condensor was fine and they re gassed my car air con and working beaut now. Labour loads cheaper elsewhere and these guys will falsify problems to try and make a profit. Last time I use them.

I had a terrible experience at F1autocenter. Not only did it take them nearly 3 hours to fit my 4 tires, but the manager was also extremely rude, despite my polite behaviour. Despite their lower prices compared to competitors, I won't be returning

So helpful and friendly. Got my tyre sorted and got me back on the road as quickly as they could despite being really busy. I recommend them.

Would absolutely not recommend to my worst enemy. I took the car in for 2 new tyres and they have caused damage to the alloy which is clearly from the fitment process which they have not lubricated during the install. Avoid at all costs as you’ll be likely left with this extra surprise expense as well.

I had a nail in my tyre, they said leave the car and come back in 2-3 hours. Yeah okay. Went to a place on castle boulevard done in minutes.I did a while back to replace all my tyres here very good service and normal lower average price on Michelins.Suppose we can't expect drop everything service?Tracking was I thought expensive, discount tyres and profit on tracking....It's a business so wages to pay and rent.So yes go here for tyres and other stuff

F One Auto said they had affixed new linage pins on both sides of the front of my car last year and ever since they did the work, I've been hearing clunking sounds from both front wheels. A friend had looked at the work completed by F One Auto a couple of months later and informed me that the linkage pins had been put on the wrong way around. I have recently been to another garage who have now fixed this problem as it was sounding absolutely awful, stating that the pins were old and worn and that they were surprised I had managed to drive the drive this long. F One Auto charged me £200 for the work they did and obviously didn't affix new pins to the car as well as making a really bad job of fixing my old linkage pins back to the car. I wouldn't recommend this garage to anyone as my life was in the balance every time I drove my car. Mechanics should NOT cause such problems for a woman driver.

Booked in for an afternoon slot for a tyre repair (small job), turned up at 1pm, was then sat waiting for about 2 hours, while they worked on other cars (for which no one was waiting, I was the only one in the waiting room).They then couldn't find the locking wheel nut, fair enough, I found it for them, expecting them to then do the work, but for some reason they then went on and did another load of cars first. So I waited another 2 hours. Complete waste of an afternoon, and poor service.

Very helpful staff I got 4 brand new tyres fitted on my car (Michelin Crossclimate 2) booking was easy. Didn’t have to wait at all. They Did a great job, Thank you to all of the team.
