Mike English Vehicle Repairs & MOT

I've used this garage for a couple of years for my MOT and am very happy with the service Mike provides. He is very honest, helpful and quick and always lets me know when the car will be ready to collect. I would agree with an earlier review, as a woman it can be a refreshing change. Thank you.

Please be very cautious of going here. A family member had their car serviced here last week, and within days the car had broken down miles away from home. When contacted, Mike English refused to help in any way. Would not recommend taking your vehicle here.

I took my car here in the recommendation of a friend after being messed around by the garage I usually use for two small jobs and an M.O.T.My car was booked in very quickly and I was really satisfied with the work. The staff were very helpful and I found the cost more than reasonable. More than anything I was grateful how quickly they were able to get the work done as I'm a key worker and very reliant on my car, particularly during the Coronavirus Pandemic.I will definitely be using this garage from now on.

I needed new suspension fitted to my car. I was supplying the parts so just needed the parts fitted. I phoned 3 local garages and was given quotes between £120-£150 to complete the work but unfortunately all 3 local garages were booked up for the next 2 weeks. I called Mike English and they told me to bring the car in the next day as they were quiet. I said great I’ll drop the car off in the morning. When I collected the car he give me a bill of £390 so £240 more than the highest quote I’d received from other garages. Bare in mind this was labour only as I supplied the parts. 2 hours work for nearly £400! Equates to £200 per hour labour. Biggest rip offs in Neath by far.

I would definitely recommend going to this garage. My rear windscreen washer was blocked & Mike and Liam did a great job fixing the problem. Really friendly and helpful and cost was reasonable too, I’ll definitely be using this garage again. Thank you

Hi I bought a white 1988 nissan sunny coupe off you guys back in March 17, I'm still driving it around. 6 years on. Just wanted to let you guys know. Don't normally keep cars long. It's been ok with Mots. Thanks Mike, Liam and the boys glad you didn't race it.

Had a MOT done recently. Great family run garage... Super friendly, approachable and affordable. I will be using them for all my car needs. Thank you Mr English!
