Car went in for warranty repair never found anything, but kept quiet about the things they did find. Apart from a tyre tread a lose heat shield and high oil level once I got the sheet home told me everything wrong with the car thay they failed to even mention, never had any correspondence to ask if I'd like it repaired or the pil rectified. Told my my oil level is too high and because its due its service it'll get done when I take it for that, in the next breath told me they do not advise me to drive my car, but it was ready to be picked up. laughable, bearing in mind i was driving back from dunfermline to glenrothes i told them I did not get the option for the oil to be drained zoe basically told me on the phone service will do it and they basically said they wont do it as its a waste of their time they would have to do the full service. Absolutely shocking customer service couldnt give a flying f if your car was safe or not. for them to send me a video saying all these things were fine but the paper says differently, then the paper also says my oil level is in the green but yet they have said to me its too high and I shouldn't drive it. Do not trust them and will not use them ever again . absolutely bizarre. If anything was to happen to the car after refusing to drain my oiloil and advising me not to drive car id have a pretty good case as what choice was i left with after refusing to do the oil for me, and asked to take it to another garage mental behaviour. Then as i was driving off my car clunks enough to make me think id hit something, man gets in car drives it round the car park says its fine it was just your break that was stuck they are not in very good condition what in the actual name of the lord !!!Edit To top it off I have someone else's paperwork make no wonder it says my engine oil is fine because it isn't even my check list! My experience of Macklin Motors Vauxhall, is on a par with my experience of BMW, & Mercedes.I ordered a new Vauxhall Astra, which was quite a wait, but Craig (Sales Manager), kept me up to date with progress, which was very welcome.My visit was to pick up the car, where the paperwork and payment went smoothly, with everything pre-prepared.The handover was quite short, but I was told to call with any questions, at any time.

Massive thanks to the whole team at Macklin Dunfermline especially Julie and Paul, who helped get me my new car and nothing was too much trouble at all. From Paul making sure it was the right car for me and what I wanted and needed to Julie who had to deal with my numerous emails back and forward. She was amazing from start to finish and I couldn’t recommend them enough! Thank you all xx

I have had an excellent experience purchasing a new car from Sales Exec Julie. Everyone I came in contact with was lovely especially to my dog who added to his fanbase.It seems that nothing is too much hassle. Had a really good test drive to get a feel for the car.I would highly recommend doing business with this dealership.

Alan Mcateer in the service dept was absoluetly fantastic!.I had recently purchased a car from an alternate dealership and needed help locating some service history with very little info.Spoke to Alan and he managed to find out everything I needed and was beyond helpful in doing so, going the extra mile to ensure everything was taken care off.Not all heroes wear capes, but Alan certainly does!Thank you Sir!GxE

Have been trying for over a week to arrange repairs suggested by them. Contacted them five times and had been told they would be back with costs within half an hour. One time left on hold for thirty minutes. Terrible service.
