Wonderful natural garden and woodland. Spectacular all year but for me particularly so when the rhododendrons and asalia are in bloom.

Very nice gardens and walks. Lots of different varieties of plants in unique settings. The himalayan Valley was great. Spacious carpark. Gift shop including cafe and toilet facilities available. There are many routes round the garden itself with seating occasionally.

Arriving, unwittingly, on the first day open since the start of the pandemic 28mar22), it was probably the most idyllic day to visit possible. Beautiful rhododendron, towering eucalyptus, daffodils blooming, and the garden, it's paths and surrounds in amazing condition, we couldn't have teleported from outer space to a better time. The Himalayan, sino and antipodean plants thrive in the Scottish climate and the caretaking team have done an amazing job of explaining the history and provenance behind the botany on display with great signage and brilliantly marked trails. This is definitely somewhere to stop and take a breath if you're on the way to Kintyre or taking the tourist route to Oban, particularly if you add in the cafe with friendly staff and tasty soup (the cakes looked good, but I need to eat less cake).

Beautiful trees shrubs plants and little waterfalls. Great weather, some steep stairs and paths, but worth the effort. Good cafe for a welcome drink after your walk.

Beautiful gardens perhaps seen at its best in May/June when the rhododendrons are in flower, or later in the year for the autumn colours. No really steep climbs but good walking shoes should be worn for the higher paths. Allow for 2-3 hours.

Interesting outdoor National Trust garden for those interested in exotic plants, shrubs and trees. Lots of paths to explore and a nice view over Loch Fyne from a signposted vantage point. Due to covid restrictions the tea room was closed but the toilets were still open to the public. Nice way to spend a couple of hours when the weather is nice.

Lovely place despite the weather. Some of the woodland steps were high for little legs like mine and some of the edges along the waterfall were too sheer for my partners height phobia, but there were other paths so you could avoid the edge. Pretty autumn colours, but no wildlife cause of rain. Would be lovely on a sunny day. Nice cafe & gift shop with lovely staff.

Beautiful gardens with a choice of trails to follow. The rhododendron are stunning and there is something interesting around very corner. Spent 2 lovely hours here enjoying the sunshine. Friendly staff in the cafe.

Small glorious garden run by National Trust for Scotland. Loved it here and well worth the visit. But do watch out for it as entrance easy to miss.
