As all the other reviews say the reception and phone service is horrible.I have been on hold for half an hour only to have the phone picked up and put back down again. Receptionists are unhelpful if they don't immediately put the phone down, the most helpful advice I got from one receptionist was not to bother and go straight to A&E.If you somehow do manage to get an appointment the staff are lovely but it's almost impossible to get past reception.

I hate to write a negative review about an NHS service but I have been registered here for years and it's got to the point where ringing the GP is a massive cause for anxiety. You have to ring at 8.30 to book same day appointmentsand now after being on hold for half an hour you can't even access an appointment, just a call. I can't always be available for same day calls/appointments due to my work so it is so impractical. I know the staff are probably doing their best but they often come across as very uncaring and unhelpful. The call today has finally given me the kick I needed to register somewhere more helpful. I've been registered in many different places and the service here is by far the most stressful to actually access. Most staff are helpful if you do get an appointment but even one doctor was not very understanding in the past so I tried to avoid them. Someone really needs to have a look at what's going wrong here because it can't be nice for staff or patients alike.

I had various symptoms that needed attention. I discovered that I was cancelled from their GP without any particular reason. So after having re-applied and having dealt with the 111 for excluding Covid, once I knew I was negative and I have been re-approved, I tried to phone call the centre for an appointment. Nobody answered since the morning. Several and several attempts. In the afternoon I dediced to go there in person. Several phones that rang without anyone answering, I found a free receptionist that without even hearing what I had to say, told me that appointments should be booked just at the phone and sent me back in an unpolite way. I continued calling since I went out and finally after another half hour waiting, someone answered....to tell me that was not the right time. They just book appointments at 8.30 am.For what they care, I could have been dead before a doctor appointment.Sure after this I will change medical practice. It's a joke.

Usually do get an appointment when I need one, which is great. Have however had multiple negative experiences with rude, cold, condescending staff, acting like having patients is a huge inconvenience. Bedside manner non existent.

Nice practice. Not sure why the reviews are so bad. Called at 8.30am and had an appointment on the same day. Seem pretty quickly in the practice. Kind staff.

Truly the worst medical practise I’m yet to encounter. Why can’t I book in advance? Who knows. Will I ever see my GP?? Who knows. I think it’s time to find a new medical practise- that is if I wish to ever get better!

No one answering the phone. If the miracle happens fortunately — anyone picked up your phone, you’ll be told to book the appointment next day morning. Then you will find out that there’s no way you could get through to their number in the next morning. If you get an appointment with everything smoothly, go buy the lottery :)

Came here for the first time today. The online registration process was quick and easy. You have to call at 8:30 to book an appointment for that day, and you’re put on hold and updated on your position in the queue every few minutes. I only had to wait about 10-15 minutes. The receptionist was nice and booked my appointment with no problem. Upon arrival the receptionists were also helpful. I had an appointment with Dr Kent who was very friendly and a great doctor. Overall a good experience

I've never had any issues with rudeness etc. as some have said with the receptionists. They obviously have a difficult and stressful job having to deal with likely thousands of students. I've had several appointments and phone interactions and they've always been normal.Plus, I've managed perfectly fine several times now to book for appointments days in advance of the phone call, so I'm not sure what this 8:30am call time stuff is about.Only negative I would say is that the phone queue has always been quite large so you have to wait 10ish minutes to talk to reception. I was once waiting an hour and fifteen mins. So avoid phoning first thing on a Monday if you can.Maybe people who are used to really quick, no queuing and extra polite GP surgeries have higher expectations than me but this seems like a standard NHS GP surgery to me.
