Osteopathy and You

I have been seeing Jemma for a number of years now and cannot recommend her highly enough. As a GB athlete I spent a long time searching for someone who I trusted enough to deal with any sports related injuries. So far, Jemma has sorted out problems with my shoulder, back and wrist. I am constantly surprised by the amount of treatments she is able to offer. She also makes you feel at ease immediately and her gym/sporting knowledge is second to none. I recommended her to many friends and family.

I joined Jemma's Pilate sessions very nervously 2 years ago but soon became confident thanks to Jemma's encouragement and enthusiasm. She's a brilliant teacher and I really look forward to the classes. Thanks Jemma

I visited Jemma for the treatment of frequent migraines and accompanying shoulder tension after struggling for several years.From my initial consultation, Jemma was extremely attentive and keen to thoroughly understand the potential cause of my migraines. The treatment plan was explained clearly in each session, and she ensured I was comfortable with/had input into the planned approaches to treat my headaches throughout.After several weeks of sessions, I have identified significant improvements in the initial tension, and my migraines have become noticeably less frequent.I would absolutely recommend Jemma for any migraine/headache issues, as a friendly, attentive and highly knowledgable professional!

Jemma was fantastic. As someone has who engages in a lot of sports, and has the collection of issues that comes with that, she was fantastic at rooting them out and slowly working through each one.Very communicative during the appointment on what was happening and why. WOW! I have had a lower back issue for 26 years and have had so many different treatments from so many different practitioners over that time, that I really have lost count.Today I was treated by Jemma Shaw and can honestly say that it was THE best treatment I have ever had. Can’t recommend enough. Jemma has extensive knowledge and I’ve already noticed improvements in my issue after just a couple of sessions. She is extremely polite, very friendly with a highly professional approach to her work. I’ve been to different osteopaths over the years but Jemma is definitely the best and wish I’d found her sooner. A hamstring tendinitis issue left me completely unable to do the sport I love but thanks to Jemma and her amazing shockwave treatment I’m already well on the way to being back to full strength after just a few treatments. The shockwave treatment isn’t painful but is highly effective and Jemma is extremely knowledgeable with her diagnosis and the treatment is very reasonably priced compared to other practitioners in the area. Thank you Jemma for getting me back on track so quickly at a price I could afford!

Lucy was able to diagnose my issue within one session, her treatment relieved my pain in my hip and I was able to sleep at night again. Jemma also gave some detailed and insightful advice. Would highly recommend them both.
