Buyer BewareWell, this is something strange.I purchased a kitchen from magnet, the design was perfect.They set me up with a fitter who had an attitude worse than a toddler having their toys removed. This was a magnet fitter, and after him moaning for 30 minutes I sacked him.The kitchen came critically damaged, had gashes, scratches and was in poor condition. After the kitchen had been fitted the laminate started to buble and blister. The work benches began to absorb water and left entire kitchen broken.I emailed, called and sent a letter first class recorded, but unfortunately they wouldn't respond, remedy the issue or fix the problem.Had a manger come out, state he would sort it and then follow that up with a bunch of lies.

Unfortunately we were completely ignored throughout our visit. The reason for the 1star is due to the fact there were more staff than customers ( we were the only ones in the showroom) . The staff were talking with each other as we wondered round, not what I would expect in a retail environment. It’s such a shame as we really like there product and are in the market for a kitchen.

Possibly the worst Customer service I have experienced. Simply weren't interested in us, made sarcastic comments at us and barely helped out despite the store being empty.Extremely disappointing, will not be going back, and would not recommend to anyone.Take your business elsewhere.

The service we received was good. The poor rating is for how the staff member was treated by the manager. The poor girl wasn't aloud to stop for a lunch break. She said this is a common thing. The rather large manager could have easily gave her 15-30 min brake as he didn't seem to be doing much. She did politely ask him and he just said no with a smug look on his face. Clearly on a power trip. If any magnet staff member wants more details of our experience feel free to contact me. I won't buy a kitchen from you if you can't look after your staff.

I had a drawer come off in my kitchen of 10 years noone could help ,I rang magnet who couldn't have been more helpful and the store manager paul even came out and fixed the door for me if there is an award for outstanding customer service I don't know who deserves it more,when my kitchen was fitted 10 year ago they couldn't have helped me more nothing was a problem and they still show the quality service to this day they still go above and beyond in their kitchens and service why would you go anywhere else.Thankyou again.

0 stars if I could. Booked a virtual appointment online by filling out a form, next day have been called and asked again the same questions. Appointment booked after a few days and each day I received a reminder of it by email for a total of 3 emails and 2 text messages on the day of the appointment saying to click on the link I never received. It felt just like if they wanted me to cancel the appointment but on my responsibility. 1 hour prior to appointment, I get another email from the designer asking me if I was still ok for the virtual appointment and when I replied saying yes but have no link they said to have technical issues with the link. lol. She said will do the design over emails and phone calls asking for the 3rd time the same questions. Kitchen draft sent to me in 30 mins, I reply with changes suggestions and never heard since. It's been 9 days and I realised I'd never go and spend money with a company like this. Please even delete my data from your database.

Went into Gateshead Showroom - potential cash buyer and not impressed with Service, had to look for a Sales Person that couldn’t be bothered to get up from the desk.
