I have lived in Partington my whole life and as far back as I can remember charcoal has been here, it has slowly gone further down hill as the years have rolled on and now their food has hit rock bottom, I have problems every time I order from here it is absolutely shocking I have just received my order of a chicken kebab, the chicken is fry and my pita bread for some reason looks like they have just gone and dipped my pita bread into a puddle outside the shop for a laugh threw my chicken into it and sent it round to my house

This use to be a really good takeaway, but has masively let my family down!!!Their current delivery driver is a waste of time, and i would surgguest to only collect .The lady on the over end of the phone was not helpful at all, and still got charge though just eat for canceling the order.Rubbish takeaway ordering system.

I had to re-edit my last good" review for this place written a year ago.I don't know if there's been a change of management at this once great takeaway but now the quality of the food is simply awful! The delivery driver has always been rude and drives around Patrington like an idiot but it was worth putting up with for great food... Now the quality of the burgers are cheap and nasty and the kebab meat is practically pet food standard! What is really sad is that they have even resorted to posting fake reviews on "Just Eat". It really is a crime what they are doing to this place

Gone down hill loads from back in the day, need to change there food suppliers and pay a little extra for quality goods rather than the cheap stuff, kebab meat is like plastic and even the burgers now don't have much taste, the cheese on the pizzas is nasty cheap stuff, not ordered from there for a few months due to the poor taste and quality of the food, phone manners wont cost much either and the delivery driver smacks your window with his keys really hard every time and is rude, drives like a nutter aswell, need to get the love back like they had when they first opened

Rang up this evening at 22.35 to find the phone not being answered. Drove down at about 22.50 to find the shop all shut up and in darkness even though hours state open till 23.00. We order from here very regularly at least twice a week and love the food but I find it quite annoying that they are not staying open till the time they are meant to be especially on a Friday night which I would think would be one of their busiest

Ordered food last night as we’d not eaten all day and fancied a pizza, the first one came with the completely wrong toppings on which they did replace, the second one came shortly after and was wrong again, no beef on it, the ham was literally the worst tasting meat I’ve had and well over done, and the pepperoni and salami were too undercooked, the pizza toppings only went half way up each slice, defiantly rushed because they’d done the first one wrong, literally had a bite and binned it, gutted really because the pizzas are normally belting and I do tell people that when they ask, won’t be ordering again unfortunately!One thing I can say were the lad delivering was a sound guy.

I'm all for supporting local family businesses, particularly in times like now, however these guys are just con artists. They made me pay twice for the same order pretending that it hadn't worked the first time. They then refused to refund me saying they never received both lots of money despite my credit card statement showing two payments made to them as a merchant. I will never use them again. The food is substandard anyway (and the 3* hygeine rating has put me off using them for the last few year's) but there's not alot of choice round here. Now I will just do without or go to Partington Fish Bar, atleast they have better customer service and a 5* food hygeine rating.
