We hired Ash to photograph our elopement in Scotland this year and we couldn't have enough great things to say about her and her outstanding work. We knew she was the perfect person the second we had our first chat with her. She has such a genuine and caring attitude towards her clients, along with a laid back and relaxed vibe. Everything she did from day 1 was thoughtful and she always put us first. When we received our images back a few short weeks later, we were blown away. She has a magical way of capturing moments we didn't even know where happening! To be able to look back at photos of our friends and family who joined us along with our beautiful portraits, is something we are so thankful for. Ash was absolutely everything we could have asked for in a photographer for our wedding. Ash’s style immediately interested us from her portfolio and Instagram, which prompted us to set up a call with her. Her commitment to her clients became very evident to us immediately, and our understanding of this only grew as time went on. We felt Ash was as excited about being able to capture this day as we were to have it. Ash even arrived to the island early, scouting out the perfect places to shoot our photos, filtering through all of the stunning landscapes of Mykonos to find the most beautiful scenery. On our big day, our friends and family also took note of how professional, caring and committed Ash was to capturing the best shots of all of our favorite people. She immediately assumed a role as part of the family, placed herself as the maestro, and caringly coached everyone into place in order to put together the best shots possible. During the ceremony and wedding party, Ash was unobtrusive, yet thorough in capturing all of the special moments that we experienced. Her style was the perfect combination of actively directing us to get the best shots and always making sure we were on time for every step of the wedding day timeline, and at the same time blending in to the day, naturally capturing the most amazing moments. One of the highlights of our wedding was working with our amazing photographer Ash Powell. She showed up early to get beautiful shots of the venue and surrounding area and was with us all day, throughout our journey. She perfectly captured the beautify of the venue and the excitement and love we felt. After the ceremony we went out to a field above the property and she took gorgeous photos as the sun was setting. She also stayed all night and captured the fun of our reception. Looking at the photos makes us feel everything we felt that day and it looks as good - if not better - than it looked in real life. She has an amazing eye for portraits and scenery and we couldn't have asked for anything more!

My husband and I eloped in England on the coast of Cornwall this winter, and we feel incredibly lucky to have found Ash Powell to be our photographer! It was a totally friendly and easy process from start to finish (even with us being in the US, and Ash being all the way in Cornwall - email and Skype worked great!). She was super flexible, allowing us to tailor the photo session package around our needs, and it was a joy to finally meet Ash on the day of our wedding. She went above and beyond, arriving at our venue hours ahead of time to scout the perfect locations for photos, and the images she captured are absolutely breathtaking. (truly better than we even could have imagined!). Not to mention the fact that we had so much fun working with her! We spent the entire photo shoot chatting about life and Game of Thrones, while hiking all over the beach and the cliffs to take our amazing photos. Ash even went home after the session and sent us a few edited images that same night, just so we could share the news of our elopement with family and friends. We received a stunning slideshow of photos within a week after our wedding, and then full access to all of our photos just a week after that (ALL of our friends have commented on how jealous they are that we got our wedding photos back so quickly). We seriously can't say enough positive things about Ash, and we will definitely hire her in the future when we come back for anniversary photo shoots someday! Meanwhile, our fabulous and perfect wedding photos will hang on our walls for years to come. Thank you so much again Ash! You're a star!! :)

After rearranging twice due to the pandemic, my partner and I finally eloped in Ireland in August 2022. Ash was with us throughout the entire process and was so understanding each time we had to email her with a new date. When our big day finally arrived, she helped to make it so perfect. So friendly, professional, and beyond talented, we feel so lucky to have had Ash be the person to document our day for us. She scouted the dreamiest spots for us and drove us between locations (and did very well on some of Ireland’s scary roads!). We were pleasantly surprised at how quickly we got our full set of photos back and even strangers on the internet have told us how incredible they look (serious ART)! My wife and I want to say a huge thank you to a wonderful and very cheerful person who played a massive and important part in our journey. We were looking for a person who could capture the most precious moments and we found her! Ashley is a very nice and kind person and it was a pleasure to have her on our wedding day. We have been arranging with Ash for a few years now to photograph our wedding and throughout the many covid delays she has been kind, professional, helpful and flexible. She has always responded promptly and gone above and beyond in helping us well beyond her role as photographer. When the day arrived she was punctual, kind, gentle and unobtrusive whilst we were at the house getting ready and had a really good manner which was perfect for the relaxed family morning we wanted. On arriving at the venue she captured lovely relaxed photos of our guests and continued to document the day beautifully as it progressed. For us the day had never been about having lots of photos of ourselves (Ash does get these to) but more about the guests who made the day….Grandmas in their nineties have photos of themselves that are the first they’ve liked of themselves in many years, the families who were there with small children have special pictures to treasure and even the canine guests have their own special portraits! Ash’s pictures made even the harshest critic realise how beautiful they looked. Ash has been integral to our wedding and booking her as our photographer was the best wedding decision we made, would highly recommend to anyone looking.
