Large discount store, lots available. Store is clean and overall worth a visit. Drinks fridges are nice and cold.

Spacious, quiet, pleasant staff. So much nicer than a normal supermarket. Check here for bargains before going for your weekly shop!

The majority of products in this poundstretcher store are priced much higher than b&m or home bargains, certainly doesn't stretch the £'s anymore.

Needs a good clean on the window ledge's, not very clean when picking up dropped toys!

Lots of stock at great prices. Open late and quiet in the evenings.

Usually like going here but the customer experience is Terrible.Carrying my daughter, who didn't want to be put down asked for a bag, said am I sure? Yes. The response was well you're not going to save any turtles with getting a plastic bag.I couldn't physically carry my daughter and what I bought. Not even an inkling of shall I put them in the bag for you if your struggling- nothing.As a customer experience manager myself, I found this very off putting and felt judged just for wanting a bag.

Well stocked, plenty of choice call in you'll be surprised.

My first visit was a surprise as I nearly drove past on the way back home to Whitehaven and not being a local for too long had me turning around and parking up in the decent sized car park, although the disabled bays are in need of a redo of paint we parked up and headed inside and much to my surprise it was huge, much larger than the one that shut down in Bury where I used to visit. My carer and I went up and down all the Isles before we headed to the checkout where a friendly staff member greeted us and helped us pack. So much choice to be had from the usual coffee /tea, buscuits, sweets etc but also homeware, kitchenware and clothes on offer, wow what a variety! It was that good that we drove back with a friend to grab a few more bargains.If you're ever passing by it's definitely worth a park up if only for a few choice essentials, keep up the good work guys, you made my day!

large and a bit derelict, multiple shelves with stuff packed on them. great to browse around but does feel a bit eerie? like i said very large area some of it a bit run down. dark damp patches on walls.if you need to while away a half hour go and have a browse.

This branch of Poundstretcher is by far the largest branch I've ever visited. It's like a humongous warehouse of goods. If you need any, I dare say there's a good chance you'll find it in this branch. The staff were friendly too and went to some effort to assist me with what I was looking for (camping chair). Unfortunately they'd sold out. Prices here are more expensive than B&M and Home Bargains but their stores locally are nowhere near this big. I'll be back for another look soon.
