Whittard of Chelsea Oxford

As my mum and I (prospective customers- also 2 darker ethnic women) were trying out the tea tasters one or the staff (woman with glasses) proceeded to stand in front of our face with her hands on her hips shaking her head . We stood by the stand for around 5-6 minutes trying to cool down the tasters (with the woman now standing in front of the tasters blocking us from trying any new flavours although she saw us only try one flavour) as we went to grab the tea to purchase it, she blocked our way and told us to leave. Not trying to make assumptions but there were 2 younger (paler) girls trying out the hot chocolate many times, and the woman was eager to help them and even told them to ‘try as much as they want’ Other than that, the other staff were great and the blossom tea tasted amazing! That one incident however did ruin our outing and dimmed our mood for the rest of the trip. The other staff were lovely however. (although I would recommend the larger London store however as there is less contact with unwelcoming staff.)

Very nice staff & very good selection of tea!

The hotel chocolate is amazing, the best in the business. I've had a lot of different ones but this is the best despite the higher prices. I would recommend this to anyone and the shops always lovely with fantasticly wonderful staff. The free taster are great as well so you know you'll like it before spending all that money on some hot chocolate. All the packages are the nicest and look lovely as normal objects!!

Huge Selection of Teas.This branch had some loose teas available to buy that other branches in London didn't have.The store was very busy but the staff were still very helpful and patient.They had samples of most their products so you can smell before buying and they had a small selection of teas ready to drink for free as a taster. They also had hot chocolate to try!I bought the Marrakech Mint Green Loose Tea and White Chocolate White Loose Tea, with a very nice Loose Tea Infuser!

An excellent store with great product and very helpful and knowledgeable staffs. Good display of product.

This is a wonderful place to get everything you need for a perfect tea or coffee!The staff is knowledgeable and ready to help or give you suggestion for your best choice. Pretty little shop in the heart of Cambridge, a real pleasure for all your senses.

Visited today Weds 15th Nov at around 17:45.Horrendous attitude from the lady behind the till, practically yelling at a foreign customer who was simply asking about when Black Friday sales started and ended, being incredibly condescending and impatient, at one point shouting THAT'S HOW BLACK FRIDAY WORKS!".
