Lisa made our amazing wedding cake. She is so talented and professional! The cake looked and tasted brilliant. From designing the most gorgeous lace pattern for our cake, to making matching gluten free cupcakes, nothing was too much trouble. My husband and I really appreciated Lisa's care and attention to detail in making our cake. It's clear that she's passionate about creating incredible cakes. We had so many compliments from wedding guests about our cake. We would definitely recommend Melbourne Cake Company.

I ordered a birthday cake for my daughter’s 21st Birthday. I asked Lisa to make a semi-naked cake with fresh flowers and macarons. I was absolutely delighted with the finished cake, as was my daughter. It was tasteful and beautifully decorated and delicious too. A great job. Thank you!

I recently got married & for me, the cake was one of the exciting parts! I've always wanted my wedding cake to be special & Lisa made that happen. Lisa made our beautiful wedding cake on the 14th July. It was the best cake i have ever tasted and we had never ending compliments from all of the wedding guests. We chose Victoria sponge with a white chocolate ganache, lemon drizzle and salted caramel and toffee flavours and each was incredibly well put together! We had the Melbourne Cake Company create our wedding cake and we couldn't have asked for more from them. Their communication was incredible and they were able to offer advice and create exactly what we wanted. When we ordered the sample box, it arrived promptly and we enjoyed having the opportunity to test the different flavours - each one was delicious and we ended up going for both lemon and elderflower and red velvet. Lisa made us the most perfect wedding cake! Communication has been faultless and Lisa delivered the cake on time and decorated it with the cut off flowers from one of our bouquets. We asked for a forest green marble cake with a gold vein and white background- she made our vision come to life. We also ordered a taster box where we could try all of the lovely flavours, we ended up choosing chocolate and vanilla as we couldn't decide. The cake tasted OUTSTANDING and all of our guests enjoyed it. My wife has been living of the leftovers since the wedding. Thank you so much Lisa!

Lisa was absolutely fantastic from that very first email correspondence to delivery and set up of our cake on our wedding day. Ordering from The Melbourne Cake Company couldn’t have been easier, with tasty sample boxes to help us choose our flavours, drawings by Lisa to help us narrow our design and she even went above and beyond working with our florist to ensure the flowers on our cake matched our theme. We got married on a Monday following a bit of a heat wave week, and Lisa did a fantastic job of creating a beautiful cake that could stand up to the outdoor temperatures keeping us updated and nerves at bay all throughout! Thankfully we had asked our venue to hold us back a little of each tier as our guests loved the cake so much it was gone in minutes which truely shows how delicious Lisa’s baking is!

Lisa was fabulous from start to finish. She was very commutative and happy to listen to what we wanted but also made suggestions. The samples she sent were very professional and actually slices of cake, other places had provided a cup cake as a sample which is not a true reflection of what you are getting. All the flavours were just delicious and we changed our mind on the flavours we wanted as a result of trying these.The cake on the day was everything we expected and more, the sponge was so light.I cannot recommend Lisa enough, you won't be disappointed!
