Best Mobile

My i-phone 6 wasn't holding a charge. Kept running out in a couple of hours. Took to Best Mobile and the battery was replaced for £25. Now going great! My son had his battery changed too. All working fine and holding charge well.

I must share my disappointing experience with a shop in my hometown of Uddingston. The shop is exploiting locals, notably the elderly, by providing unauthorized services and charging exorbitant fees. My father fell victim to this scheme when he took my mother's 2016 Samsung tablet there for a repair quote. The owner, Yavuz Oncu, promised to provide a quote but instead fixed the tablet without consent and charged £80, which is the price of a new tablet.When I discovered this, I went to the shop and confronted Oncu's son, who was unfamiliar with the situation. The shop was a mess with expensive devices, including my mother's tablet, haphazardly piled up. I pointed out that my father had requested a quote before any repair work, a fact that Oncu denied, insisting that all agreements were verbally made and no written records were kept.During my visit, another customer walked in with a similar issue: an iPad repaired without a prior price agreement, the unauthorized repair bill amounting to several hundred pounds. Amidst this, Oncu's son accidentally dropped a stack of iPhones, risking further damage to customer devices.Initially, they agreed to reverse the unauthorized repair, returning the tablet with its original broken screen. However, they quickly reneged on this, demanding £40 for the 'work' they had done. It's deeply concerning to see this shop take advantage of its customers, especially the elderly. Judging by other reviews, my father's case is not an isolated incident. I strongly advise caution before stepping foot in this establishment.

I have used many mobile phone repair shops in my time and this is the worst. Not just because they did a bad job on my phone (the replacement screen has some dead pixels) but it took weeks (they don't ever answer the phone when you call them to chase) and they quoted one price and then held my phone ransom until I paid more. When confronted, they were rude, aggressive and just overall, awful. USE ANY OTHER REPAIR SHOP!

Went in for a straightforward quote on my iPhone repair. Imagine my surprise when, a day later, they claimed to have fixed" it and expected £195 in return. I noticed other reviews mentioning similar experiences. Fortunately

Water damaged mobile. Virgin quoted me £120 repair and loss of all data. Phone was fixed in 2 days for £25 at this wee shop. AND all my data intact. Absolutely delighted and happy to recommend.

This is the worst shop every used, I wouldn't let the guy change a light bulb never mind a iPad screen! 3 times the waste of space tried it fix it!! and every time he said it was perfect!! but it still had faults all 3 times, and as he said he has a short fuse so after a period of time he tried to fix it yet again an it still wasn't fixed properly

Terrible experience, did not do quote for fix as asked, but instead did the work anyway and charged more than the iPad was worth??!! Scam!!!

the front screen of my phone was fully cracked so i took it here to get it fixed, the man working there snatched the phone when i was handing it to him and was very rude about it and being very blunt. I got the phone back at the phone screen is working but has not been put back on correctly as there is a slight gap at the top, only put 1 star cos i couldnt put 0

I took my phone here as it had a slight crack on the screen, it is now completely wrecked. The new screen he fitted did not fit, within 1 day it was chipping at the bottom and not working properly. I took it back to the shop, his son (I assume) was obnoxious to me, he suggested I broke it myself? He refused point blank to fix it and says I should take it somewhere else ? This was all said in front of other customers, he then called his dad or someone and talked in another language while laughing at me, I was mortified, I have no idea what he was saying, it was very upsetting. I had to just leave with my broken phone. I have since been told by another company that the screen was not glued properly so came away, they had to replace it. So I have now paid to get it fixed again. I am more upset at how I was treated in this shop, it was disgusting. I have contacted trading standards and asked them to look into this. Don't use this shop, they are very unprofessional.

If I could give zero stars I would. Daughters tablet dropped off for screen repair . Quoted price and pick up date . Turned up at shop a day early on offchance it would be ready early for us going on holiday to be shown tablet still with broken screen and absolutely no explanation as to why the work hadn't been carried out or my wife hadn't been contacted to say the work couldn't be completed. Utterly incompetent. Plenty people in Forge market can do same job but wanted to support local independent . Avoid at all costs.
