Staff are very helpful and kind. There is a good selection of books for small children and when I've ordered books through the online system everything came through quickly. Renewing books online is also easy.

I visited Shildon library a week or so ago.I could not get access to my email account online to be able to print off some very important documents that I needed.A lady called Jane on reception found a way to do it for me.She went out of her way to help me.I find this to be rare in society now and I am very grateful to her for helping me.Exceptional customer service,Thank you.

All members of staff are knowledgeable and helpful. The system is highly functional which assists. Well stocked local library with both children's and adult sections. Books can be ordered from other local libraries if required and there is plenty of free parking nearby. Highly recommended.
