Had an Amtico Signature vinyl floor put down in our kitchen/ dining room (15.10.21). The lads have done a fabulous job and we are really pleased with it, it looks fabulous. Professional standards from start to finish, would highly recommend Booths Carpets and will definitely be using their services again in the near future.

Booths were recommended by our builder when we moved into our home some years ago.Following water damage in June 2021 we needed to replace our lounge and bedroom carpets. We contacted Booths and we were delighted to purchase the replacement items from the company.Harriet and Robert were excellent providing a very professional and friendly service. Special mention goes to the carpet fitters Lee and Paul who were fantastic.The standard of work, quality of the product and level of service from all the team were second yo none and we have no hesitation n recommending Booths.

I am not happy at all with a 1,200 pound brinton carpet.I am still waiting for an offcut of my carpet which I would have used for a doormat???I will stick to my usualWakefield Carpet Specialist.I have used for39years.

Built a new house and needed soft furnishing, carpets and flooring. We went to Booths, Harriet and Robert guided us with the flooring, carpets, sofas, bespoke headboard, curtains and curtain tracks. Completely over the moon with the service, installation, quality of the products and value for money. More importantly excellent support throughout the whole process from start to finish. Would HIGHLY RECOMMEND Booths and will be using them again for our next project.

We were really impressed with this company from start to finish. They did what they said. Robert arrived to quote on the day/ time he said he would and rang to check before arriving. He told us the job may take a while(few weeks) due to the guys being so busy. This is fine if you are told beforehand. He sent the quote when he said he would. We paid a deposit and got the invoice from Harriet fine. Robert sorted out a convenient uplift. He rang when the workmen were going to be late to do this and gave a corrected ETA. The guys were great in sorting the job out in an unflappable way. When the floor was laid they were with us for 8.30 promptly and were v considerate, e.g. they said when we could eat / have a comfort break before they stuck the floor, as we were pretty much blocked in with having two areas done. We appreciated their respect for us and the work. The finish is brilliant, of a high standard and we are thrilled.The quote was very competitive. To say we have bought Amtico (Eden oak)now which is a market leader in lvt, we are very happy with quality as well.To get any idea of the price for the job we wanted doing, we contacted/got a fair few companies out...we had one guy in Ossett who said he prided himself on great customer relations, yet never got back with a quote despite my ringing him twice two weeks later and me being reassured he'd nearly done it (and he'd seemed so nice and thoughtful)...John Lewis assessors said our floor humidity was too high half an hour after coming and saying they would be starting the quote (and there was nothing they could do about it if the underneath was wooden..this has never been said to us other than by this company)...another independent Wakefield company gave a quote nearly £500 more than others we got...whilst another would have only laid the new floor on top of the old, damaged one we wanted replacing! So sadly he had to turn around before he got his measure out....and another who would only take bank transfer, which is not great to protect you the customer if the company goes belly up before your lvt arrives and the job gets done.Sometimes these things/excuses are actually because the companies have too much work on. We don't mind if they say this to us and only wish they would tell you this and be honest so we can move straight on to work with others instead.This company has been very honest and straightforward and as customers we really appreciate that and we can work with longer times scales etc. We don't want the moon on a stick....just a smart job for a fair price. The company definitely delivered this and we really thank them. Thanks to all the team who contributed.

Awful experience with Booths. They're more expensive than most and we wanted to use a local family firm so we chose to pay more with them. They caused several instances of damage (chipped walls, scratched dining table, left glue spilling out of the edge of our flooring then walked gluey footprints everywhere). They offered to come and sort them out, but when they arrived to fix them the fitter denied having caused any of them. Not sure why they bothered to offer to fix them if they were going to deny culpability anyway. They were rude, a bit aggressive and completely unprofessional. Would not recommend, would suggest shopping around for a better local family firm. Avoid.

Great experience from start to finish! We wanted to choose a family-run, local business due to the bigger companies offering an impersonal, generic service with the price tag to match.Robert came to do the survey and quote which we then had in writing promptly, enabling us to book them in quickly and secure a date, which was kept.We chose an LVT fitted by Paul and Martin which needed substantial floor prep which they did a great job of. The floor looks amazing and everyone has commented on how great the quality and fitting is.Nothing was too much trouble and the customer service and aftercare has been much appreciated- thanks Harriet!

I emailed 2 separate email addresses which are listed on their wesbite in an attempt to receive a Karndean quote, yet no one ever got back to me. Strange, it's almost like they don't want custom. Went to another nearby retailer in the end.
