Ruth is a god send. Her day care service really is a home from home for Douglas. Ruth is meticulous with her care and slowly introduced us and Douglas to not only herself but her dogs and even members of her family making sure that Douglas was never overwhelmed or distressed by the situation.She sends us photos and updates throughout the day to show us what fun exciting things Douglas has been up to.Ruth makes sure that she only has a certain number of dogs at any one time so she can give each dog the care and attention it deserves. She also is very careful to make sure that she doesn’t accept dogs that she thinks will not get on with others.Ruth has been amazingly accommodating and has taken Douglas at short notice when she’s had a space free.We love that Douglas is taken in and made a part of the family while he is there. The fact that he can’t wait to get out of the car as we approach her house and runs for her front door just shows how much he loves it there.The greatest thing about Comfy Paws Canine Care is that when we drop Douglas off with Ruth we only have to worry about missing him.

I don’t think Ruth could do any more to make her dog guest feel at home. Polly loves staying with Ruth and her family, and we always enjoy the daily Whatsapp updates about walks, adventures and activities. If you want someone who genuinely cares for your dog, and provides a professional service with all home comforts, then I’d wholeheartedly recommend Comfy Paws.

I left our family dog Flossie with Ruth for 10 days when we went on a family holiday . This is the first time in Flossie's life she was left in someone else's care for more than a couple of days . I was impressed with the initial visit by Ruth to our family home to see Flossie and the subsequent trial stays with Ruth (2 x 24hr ) . On the 10 day stay Ruth kept me updated with photo's and how Flossie was settling in on a daily basis . It was very reassuring to know that Flossie was well looked after . I would highly recommend Ruth to look after your dog .

Ruth was incredible. She looked after our two French bulldogs Ovie and Florence for 2 weeks at short notice. (We got let down) she did everything she could to help me out. She was a life saver! She welcomed me and the dogs into her home for an initial for a couple of hours, then they had a little sleepover a week later to help the dogs feel more settled and comfortable before their visit and what an amazing time they had!! I received many photos during their stay which was very reassuring. She took the dogs out for many walks, played games, received lots of cuddles and treats!! I think they didn’t want to come home. Ruth is a lovely, kind, loving and reliable lady and I wouldn’t want my dogs to go anywhere else. I could not recommend Ruth highly enough. She was truly amazing. Ovie and Florence are looking forward to their next visit already- they miss you! Thanks again for all that you have done. The care they received was incredible xxx

Ruth had our 2 year old cavapoo for 15 nights in August and he had a great time. She ensured he was happy and settled with a trial session and a sleepover session before our holiday. While we were away, she kept us well informed with regular photos and videos of what he was up to. I think he’s come back a better behaved and socialised dog after being with Ruth and her dogs. We’ll definitely be booking again.

Ruth is amazing and we can’t recommend Comfy Paws enough! We had a meet&greet with our pups and an overnight stay to ensure our puppy Ralph was comfortable before his 8 night stay whilst we went on holiday. We looked forward to Ruth’s updates with all the adventures of the day, lovely photos and funny videos. Ruth has everything covered which means it’s not only stress free, but a true pleasure to have Ralph in Ruth’s care. We are so grateful and will continue to use Comfy Paws and recommend others to do so.Ruth wished us a happy engagement which happened on this holiday and I’m hoping there will be a ‘wedding doggie chaperone service’ on offer for our big day!.. because that’s how much we value and trust Ruth!

We've used Comfy Paws a number of time for Luna, both daycare and boarding. Luna is always so excited to see Ruth which is lovely to see. We are sent photos throughout the day to see what she's been up to. Luna always gets lots of love from Ruth and her family and I can tell she is truly treated as one of the family. Ruth is absolutely amazing! I now take my chihuahua every Wednesday to see her for daycare. I was so nervous at first leaving him but Ruth has made me feel confident in leaving him in her care. Her attention to detail is amazing and I was glad I got lots of pictures at the end of the day! I couldn’t ask for anything better!
