Very bad service Look at other places before going to Floor Decor EllandThe guy called Chris owns the business and seems very genuine and decent and low prices but then this happens.I requested him to come measure and quote us so he did and even though turned up about 2 hour later than scheduled he then gave us our quote.i went and paid him for the chosen carpet we liked and he gave us a fitting date which was for 3 week later so i was happy with this until he contacts me very late the night before fitting is due on the 24th Aug to say he couldn't fit it on Tuesday 25th Aug as plannedChris then advised us the carpet had not turned up at his small shop in elland which we accepted as these things happen so we moved onto the next fitting date Chris had available which was another 1 week later being 31st Aug 2020 but Chris turned up with no carpet and then said carpet was damaged so i will get it replaced and ring you guaranteed on 1st Sept in morning which was the next day but by 13:30 hours on 1st Sept 2020 i still not heard from him so i rang him several times but he ignored the phone inc his mobile.i then eventually got to speak to him by going to the shop as he was not going to pick the phone up to me and said you was meant to ring me on 1st Sept but you didn't as you was meant to be re fitting my carpet on 2nd Sept 2020 but you had problems to why you couldn't fit it on this date either so you saidChris did not seem bothered about this or about letting us down on 3 occasions so i eventually asked for full refund which i got but again NO APOLOGY or anything all he had to say was there's your money.We then asked when was you planning on fitting it he replied tom being Thursday 3rd Sept 2020 we then said are you sure would you turn up and he replied dunno maybe and he added i have had to refund over £1900 worth of carpets to customers this last few week as nobody is happy with my service.We did say are you surprised this is bad what you have done to us and other customers.where your loyal customer who has used you for the last 10 years and again he was not bothered to loose our trade so we went else where and got a better deal and fitted within 3 days. that's what you call customer serviceKeep clear of Chris@ FLOOR DECOR ELLAND 10 Victoria road ellandi don't feel bad putting this as there was no remorse with Chris at all but he clearly is not bothered about his customers and friends so why should i feel bad for putting the truth about him with dates and everything for a totally honest review.This is very bad business and when your a small business like this in a small town last thing you do is what Chris has done which is upset all his locals through trade i wont use him again and others I've spoke to have already gone else where all for the sake of poor business and no communication just doesn't turn up :( ?????????????????????????
