I'm very disappointed! I am looking for job 3 month and still can't find anything. Lots of people and managers told me to come here and ask about any help and tell them my situation, so I did. I went today and older lady when told me We are not anymore Job Centre

Gave up job as daughter had an aneurysm and had to look after her 2 children , to stop them going into care. My 1st payment was 0. Waiting for 3nd payment which means I've been 12 weeks with no money. When you ring they don't care. I'm ENTITLED to 3 bus passes got 1st one no problem 2nd one has proved difficult as waited now 12 days for someone to contact me. I've phoned numerous times to be told my work coach is sorting it to then find out I don't have a work coach . My mental health this year has taken a battering with losing mum and brother 3 weeks apart to losing job, car, home, and partner as I have to live at daughters house to nearly losing daughter too, to be treated like rubbish.The job centre is so unorganised and I'm sure they hire people with 0 customer skills. Cold hearted.When you visit they're always short staffed. Short staffed when they're looking for jobs for people. Paid into the system for years to get nothing back out of it.

Very nice staff, work coaches, front house and specially security is very friendly.

Applying for a national insurence number was like talking to an incompetent wall. Bad service from the staff.

Was asked to provide evidence AFTER I enquired as to why we have not received this months statement. The agents then decided to request for some evidence even AFTER providing the evidences, NO ONE helped us get paid on time. We have made them all aware of our situation, we are homeless, we have no money to provide for our children's needs. We are going to food bank but they don't have nappies, their aged clothes, etc. We did EVERYTHING asked every time I was asked and did it STRAIGHT away. We apparently have a block on our payments? Where is this sanction information on our account, I don't see it. We are entitled for more support for being homeless and husband not being capable for working. Yet you STILL haven't provided us for support. You said you can provide support 4 months ago when we initially became homeless! Christmas is meant to be a month of giving and all we are getting us utter none sense! The Queen must be spinning in her grave! Shame on you people!

Extremely rude member of staff( Sarah) very condescending and argumentative.I attended with my son, the way she addressed me throughout was disgusting made very rude comments.I told her she was rude from the minute I sat down and I didnt like her attitude to both myself and my son.To which she replied that I was making her feel threatened. Very strange behaviour throughout. At the end of the consultation ( if you can call it that! ) She left to see her manager to report her adapted scenario of events I am sure!I will be making a formal complaint.

Haven't had any trouble so far and my advisor has been very helpful.

Well this is my story with this job centre.Been in three times to discuss national insurance credits. Each time told to wait on a letter that never arrived. Eventually one of the staff tells me ‘I can see that you’ve been trying to resolve this for two months now, if you don’t hear back by Monday just nip in any time and we’ll sort it’Well I nipped in and that staff member wasn’t there, has made an appointment for me on a date I can’t attend and they won’t do anything for me.On the way out, I see that the member of staff I originally spoke to is indeed there, tapping away at his laptop downstairs. I go back in and say ‘hey actually, the chap I spoke to last time is here could I speak to him as he knows my situation already’.What happened next was just sad. The woman at the front shuffles off, tells a male staff member ‘he’s back’ in a concerned tone and he accompanies her to repeat the same things she’s saying.I’ve worked in an office before. I’m also a non-white guy with a beard. I know when I’m getting the ‘difficult customer who might be dangerous treatment’.I didn’t raise my voice at all and kept a good distance from staff so there was really no need. I want to feel infuriated but honestly I’m just sad and defeated.
