The best dinner of our trip, enjoyed on a fantastic evening in Portsmouth with attentive and incredibly helpful staff.The starters were truly exceptional.For the main course, we enjoyed a fantastic selection of perfectly cooked steaks, each one seasoned to perfection.We ended the meal on a high note with an excellent Algarve's sweet dessert, along with other outstanding desserts from their menu.Throughout the meal, we had some fantastic cocktails, the finest beer I've come across Portsmouth, and an incredible wine list.I'm will return to try more of their dishes, for sure!

Fantastic Portuguese restaurant in the heart of Portsmouth! Our delightful waitress steered us away from the more expensive bottle of red & recommended the Portuguese House red, which was excellent for the price. We decided on tapas & wete guided on amount so we didn't over-order. The food was incredible & cooked to perfection. I would highly recommend a visit...

Loved everything in this restaurant. We went here on Sunday and we didn’t know that there was a Victorious festival going on that weekend.Carolina welcomed us and we were seated. We ordered their Lobster and I forgot the other dish. Both dishes were tasty and it does not have a strong aftertaste. The right balance of flavour, spices and sauces. A must-visit in Portsmouth.We also ordered their Pastel de Nata. It was good!!! They have a twist since they added a sprinkle of cinnamon to it.

Best restaurant to go out and eat when visiting Portsmouth.Lovely background music which creates a very nice atmosphere at the restaurant.The staff is always nice and always make sure that everything is alright with your meal.The food is simply amazing! Nothing beats some nice Portuguese food, and they make some good Portuguese dishes for sure. Tapas are also a great option with a big variety. The ingredients all seem of very good quality and the presentation of the plates is always on point.100% will comeback and recommend to everyone I know!

We first time have lunch here and found the quality of food just “ok”, but not good at all, I can’t believe all the comments said here was fantastic food? Maybe only good for dinner? First of all, the salad was not fresh at all, and the shrimp … so soft and seems almost rot, and not mention the fish, I was wondering I am eating pork.Besides, the staff was nice and the seat was comfortable.

Loved the whole experience.Managed to be seated without a booking within seconds.Quirky items on the wall gave a ‘feel good’ feel to the place.Menu was pretty exhaustive with Portuguese items, which was exactly what we wanted from an authentic restaurant.Waiter and waitresses were always on hand to get us anything we wanted and got drinks / food out to us rapidly.We went for pork leg/calamari Tapas and then francesinha and Lisboa chicken as mains. We were too stuffed for dessert!Highly recommend. Very reasonable.

A firm favourite having enjoyed many meals here and would highly recommend to others. The menu offers great variety mixing tapas and mains, we usually pick a few tapas for starters and have a main each. We have tried most of the menu and everything is amazing, steaks and seafood are particularly good. They have a good selection of drinks too. Deserts are a must too, try their crème brûlée.

Had dinner here with the family and it was outstanding. Carolina was an amazing waitress and was always recommending dishes, and she was right every time! Food was spot on, great Portuguese and took me back to my trip there. Would absolutely recommend. (P.s. try the Traditional Portuguese Dessert, you won’t regret it!)
