Great pub, we had quite a large group so used the room to the side of the main pub area. We all had a fantastic time. Will definitely go again.

Always been nice in here until tonight, walked in with my boyfriend's sister and her boyfriend, walked towards the toilets and got called out about going to use the lav without asking Infront of other customers. I said to the lady we were going to buy something but it just wasn't nice at all. We haven't been in for a while and my dad was a local here but hadn't been in for a while, he turned up 5 minutes later with us, and she then recognised me but the whole situation just made me embarrassed and we won't be coming back again. She didn't apologize afterwards or anything. Thought it was rude anyway as pubs are usually the closest toilets that you can use and most don't have a problem when you go in. I'm sure it may have just been a one off but just not a friendly greeting when we went in, not a good impression at all.

Visiting bakewell for a day out, popped in for lunch. Staff very friendly, brilliant little pub. Slight wait on food however was absolutely worth it. Will definitely come again.

Great pub. Lovely staff and an amazing Sunday evening jam session. If you can play or sing you'll be welcome I reckon. Proper down to earth. Just the vibe I got from the place tonight

My first visit here but it won't be my last. Polite friendly staff a lovely pint. They also had a brilliant system for ordering using buzzer that were fixed to the tables
