Fab meal in here with partner , setting is really nice , all tables taken and theres a buzz of conversation and laughter , service was very good and the food was tremendous . I had the black pudding sausage rolls to start which were fantastic .cooked perfectly and then had the black pudding Ballatine for the mains , still great but it didnt have the same impact as the starter because the starter was so good, ,Highly recommended for all aspects of a good meal , kudos to the border collie that the couple beside us owned who sat patiently and quietly under their table watching us eat and was rewarded by treats from the waitress.

Most excellent meal. A flat tire brought us to the area. Best part of the experience lol!We had the smoke salmon and crème fraîche,langoustines , and fish and chips. Service was very good. Atmosphere very cool and cozy.

The Drouthy Cobbler
Lovely little find just off the main street. There are a few tables outside on the the lane which feels very European. We had Nina Simone playing while there, very cool vibe. The menu is limited but still with a good choice for a nice lunch.We had the open sandwich was absolutely delicious. Staff are super friendly and very helpful and polite. Will definitely come back on an evening for dinner, will update when I do.

The most amazing dinning experience yet! I’m currently sitting inside the drouthy cobbler as a surprise birthday meal booked by my husband, and I’m completely blown away by the friendliness of the staff, and the flavours of the food. So accommodating, and I will definitely be back soon for more amazing food and wine. 10/10.

The worst dining experience, extremely disappointing.Service was very unprofessional and in some points came across rude. We were sat for 30 mins before someone came for our drinks order and when we also asked for something not to be put in one of there cocktails i was made to feel silly, questioned why and made to feel pressured into the way they want it which ended up me not enjoying it.When we questioned the waiting time we were told this was due to “Peak time” even tho there were multiple times we seen staff stood doing nothing. We then waited another hour for our meal ( salmon starter and rump steak main ) for the steak to be stone cold.

The food was great, had the special that was on and the sticky toffee pudding was amazing. It's a very nice place but the service was so slow, took 2 hours for us to have one course and 2 drinks. However it didn't really feel that long as I enjoyed just sitting chatting away. Maybe not the place for food if in a hurry though!

Amazing experience from start to finish! The waiters are so friendly, the atmosphere very cozy and a tiny bit chic/elevated (no dresscode though, but perfect for a special date night) and of course the food and drinks are sooo tasty!

A simply stunning restaurant with excellent service & beautiful atmosphere. A great, inclusive & friendly place in Elgin we could not recommend more!Food was excellent & love that it’s dog friendly. Some tables outside of the Main Street & inside decor just gorgeous.Would definitely recommend.
