Water Nippers

This school is brilliant for all levels of experience when it comes to swimming. My son always looks forward to his lesson. The teachers are fantastic with the children and instil the prefect level of confidence to allow them to develop at their own pace without them getting left behind by the rest of the class. Would 100% recommend these classes to any parent that wanted help with getting their child to swim! Thank you!

Sarah Jane is great, in such a short time my son has so much confidence in the water. The classes are small and they get almost every individual attention with 2 instructors in the pool.

My daughter has been swimming with Water Nippers for the last 12 months and has gone from a complete beginner to confident 15 metre swimmer. I’m so grateful to the company and amazing teacher for their patience, kind words and brilliant correspondence. I highly recommend this company.

My nephew has been having swimming lessons for the past 12 months at the Holiday Inn venue in Sutton. I cannot praise the teacher enough. She is calm, kind, patient and knowledgeable. My nephew started off as a nervous beginner but is now able to confidently swim 10 metres on his own! The venue is clean, and the pool is lovely and warm! The office staff are helpful, attentive and flexible. I am really grateful for the continuity too. We had tried another swim school, and my nephew seemed to have a different teacher every week. His teacher is there every Saturday which has really helped with his progress. I was there the week that the 'bad' review was written (approx. 2 months ago) and I have to say; the teacher was not to blame at all. Its a shame that parents cant take responsibility for their own child and their behaviour. The teacher is there to teach, not be abused by a child and their parents. I believe they have been asked to leave by both the venue and the company as I haven't seen them since. So please don't let that 'fake' review put you off. Definitely give this company a go! My nephew loves his lessons and talks about it, with excitement every week!

Such an amazing company, Sarah Jane helped my little girl learn how to swim and show her that there is nothing to be scared of regarding water. Would definitely recommend to anyone who is interested in finding a company who wants to teach their child to swim!

Avoid swimming companies run by Katie Wroe - Companies House shows history of companies being dissolved and re-starting - Water Nippers being the latest (Dec 2019); owing thousands of pounds to creditors - yet they were soliciting payment for future classes from parents days before the company went into liquidation - knowing full well there would be no classes. Be very wary!

Avoid this school. One of their swimming teachers asked my son who is 4 years old to get out of the pool mid lesson in front of the other kids and shouted saying that he is rude and she not going to teach him anymore and she kept telling him that all the kids are swimming but he can’t which disappointed him and he lost his self confidence in water, what happened really traumatised my poor son, at least this lady shouldn’t be dealing with kids otherwise they will get humiliated, I reported this issue to the school and they are not helpful at all.

If your looking to develop your children swimming techniques and get them water confident this is the place to go!Sarah Jane is absolutely fantastic brilliant with kids they all absolutely love her She is so patient with them and have seen such a difference in our little girl since attending!
