Paradise Skate World

Was there a couple of weeks ago for a friends birthday. Had a great time. Good drink choices too. The one downside for me was how HOT it was in there. There were a few fans, but it’s in desperate need of air conditioning. Make sure you wear something that doesn’t show sweat patches.

We came as a party of 7 for my Birthday last night! We had a fantastic time and it was a dream! Staff at all areas were great, friendly and helpful including security! It was better than I imagined and we had a variety of skill level within our group but we all said we enjoyed it. The cocktails were divine too and we loved access to the water in a nice glass. We only wish it was bigger/wider and I would have loved to have flashing or glow in the dark wheels on the skates. However in all I definitely recommend . Very different and fun experience (even if you can't roller skate like me) drinks were lovely and different. Only problem was there was only one person working in the bar in the middle so it meant you had to wait a while to be served which wasn't ideal as you only had an hour on the skates

Think the concept is really fun and unique and was definitely a good experience with friends! However, I didn’t find the staff very friendly at all. The bar tender and person upon entry were lovely but found some of the others quite unwelcoming and rude at times! We were all beginners and had no idea what we were doing and I didn’t feel as though there was any willingness to offer advice or even a smile from some. Other than this, definitely a fun concept and experience.

I went here with my partner and we had such a fun time! The staff are friendly and informative and the session is a good length however it did fly by. There’s a rail on the left like of the rink for anyone who’s not confident or never skates to hold on to. This was great as my partner could hold onto the rail as he was getting the hang of it while I skated besides him. Cute merch store too.

Our visit to ‘Paradise Skate World’ in Manchester was a blast! As beginners, we had a fantastic time. The staff was incredibly friendly and even let us skate a bit longer when we arrived early. The skating area may be small, but it offers excellent value for the price and plenty of skate time. Highly recommended for a fun and budget-friendly activity in Manchester!

If I could give it zero stars I would. But one day I went to paradise skate world and booked me in a session as a walk-in with my family. However, I was then told I could not go further with the session since it was adults only and had two children with me. I understand this but I have already paid £50 and then asked for a refund. Turns out they don’t do refunds and was then told to email head office to manually refund it to me. I emailed and then have been given late replies to no replies and once I got in touch with head manager she then said she will refund it for me as long as I confirm my digits. I was fine with that until she didn’t refund me my money at all and I’ve been waiting for nearly two weeks for a response since I’ve asked where is my money. Until now I have not received a penny back.

Fantastic!Visited Friday evening and was not dissapointed. The staff were helpful and provided great service ( especially the bartender. ) If you are new to skating, there is a member of staff who will help you on the rink.I would keep in mind that this rink is on the smaller side. Upon our visit, there were a lot of inexperienced skaters that would clog up the thinner parts of the rink.Overall however, a very enjoyable experience! I would visit here again ; pizza was fantastic also!
