Henry’s Café
It started bouncing down with rain so people went inside to take cover. However the staff approached a lady with her dog who had sat down with her lunch and told her to leave because dogs were not allowed inside. She understood however explained it was due to the rain. She asked if she could at least finish her soup but the staff refused and told her to leave. Personally I could not see the issue since it’s not like the cafe is carpeted or unsuitable for dogs. To me this was simply ridiculous.

Very unfriendly and doesn’t allow dogs , odd for an agricultural college in a park.

Excellent food and outstanding service. Went in for my breakfast and had a sausage and bacon bun, a cappuccino and a piece of carrot cake. Everything was perfect especially the carrot cake was out of this world. This is my favourite type of cake and I've never had carrot cake so yummy and delicious. Would definitely recommend this hidden gem and would visit many more times.

Great handy little establishment and with a lovely welcome given every time you visit. It's got a good menu offering good traditional home made drinks soups sandwiches and food at more than reasonable prices. The staff are very friendly and helpful and the service is brilliant. It's wonderful to sit and have a cuppa and a chat while enjoying some lovely food. I'd like to recommend it to anyone.

Converted barn, now a fairly spacious cafe. Little atmosphere or charm, but functional in that gets you out of the cold. Lots of outdoor seating for the summer and an unusually comprehensive gluten free menu were the highlights for me.

Visit here, quite often after a Parkrun on a Saturday morning. The positives: A very nice setting, a good selection of food and refreshments and plenty of seating indoor and out. The negatives which unfortunately outweighs the good points. The coffee is awful most of the time and very inconsistent. At times it’s served scalding hot which burnt my partners tongue. Can often be queues at busy times. Food very average at best.

Nice enough place in stewert park, we go often. The food is just normal cafe food however for 2 sausage sandwiches with an egg we paid over £10.However after being charged 50P for some hot water to warm my babies bottle up.. I won't be going back. I'm not sure it's legal to charge for hot water for a baby, or if they charged for a cup to put the bottle In either way... no one I know will now go there.

Would be good if dog friendly, considering it's associated with an animal study college and the other cafe at the park is dog friendly. They must lose business from that.Food is good, pasties/sausage rolls good unless you get it heated"

This cafe is so expensive. £4 (not including your chosen sauce which is in a sachet for 10p extra) for a breakfast bun which was terrible. The food is clearly cooked in advance and then microwaved on demand because the egg, bacon & sausage were all the same nuclear temperature. The end of the bacon had dried to the point of splintering. It was also swimming in grease. The bun looked good but just fell apart as it wasn’t fresh. Go to cooks the food is much nicer.
