Avoid at all costs. Slow time wasting solicitors, when escalated concerns to office manager & MD it had no impact on getting resolutions. When i moved due to lack of communication and stress I got an abusive phone call from Peter the solicitor on the case.Good Job Pete very professional! you hang in there pal.

I used Hargreaves Gilman recently for my conveyancing for a house purchase. It is really difficult to find a solicitor that someone will recommend - but in this case I would.I was always called back on the same day and called proactively by them if they needed anything. They were also very willing to help us move along the purchase on a tight timescale (unlike the vendor's solicitor).They were also reasonably priced and generally friendly and helpful, since we were first time buyers and looking for their help and guidance along the way - thank you.

They have zero respect for their clients. They never respond to any emails or letters. They do not care about clients time or money. They almost lost me the house I was wanting to purchase... twice. I had to contact the sellers direct and the seller's solicitors, to salvage what Hargreaves let fall through the cracks.They also never respond to the vendors estate agent when asking for updates.Nothing is reviewed for accuracy.If you want a successful

Used the solicitors 8 years ago to sell my father's property. No issues.Returned to sort some issues with our property and re write our wills with everything going on (covid). No problems, the young man we spoke to was extremely helpful, giving us ideas of how to and what we can put in the will.

My family recently had to approach Hargreaves Gilman for several operations relating to my elderly father's property. Tony Learoyd dealt with our case. He was knowledgeable, on the ball, but above all, highly empathetic with my father who is in ill health and is a vulnerable adult. Their prices are competitive compared with other solicitors in the Didsbury and Burnage area. We won't hesitate to go back should we need further help in the future.
