Golden Bowl
Ordered vegetable, pad Thai and struggled to finger any vegetables in it. Probably 5 scrapings off a carrot, a few bits of onion and one small piece of green vegetable in amongst all the noodles. I'd rather pay more and get the vegetables than feel totally dissatisfied. Sorry but that's the last time I will get a takeaway from there.

We had a take away from Golden Bowl at the end of a camping trip to Brook Meadow. We ordered a large amount of food for three families and everyone was happy with their food. A few commented that it was the best take away they had eaten in a long time.

Got food poisoning within 2hours which was impressive considering how little i ate, food was beyond vile.

The staff were friendly, speedy preparation of the food and I was pleasantly surprised it was considerably cheep. However, the food was not the best. I had a special chow mein which had cheep ham in it,the rest of the meat was in very small strips and I had two small prawns.

Very dissatisfied, fried rice stodgy, special fried rice portion small, just fried rice with minute pieces of meat added and the prawns were so small I missed them. Worst chinese I have had, never going back

Really disappointed. Ordered mushroom, chicken and special chow meins. All dishes indistinguishable as none of them contained much in the way of meat. Was a learning experience as I didn't know prawns that small existed! They should take a look what places like i-dragon in Leicester are serving up and compare to their offering.

Nice food I used to live in the boz and always try and go there when passing through. Only bit to be careful of.... the owner discretely added 40p stealth tax for using contactless on a 15 pound order. Things like that really annoy so wont be back.

I was passing on my way home from work quite late. Popped in here (for the first time) only to find it is without doubt the best ive tasted. I live 30 minutes away but will use the Golden Bowl now rather than my local, lovely food in clean kitchen and good service. Well done
