Despite having visited this pub many times over the last year I will not be visiting again due to the staff's unhelpful and inflexible attitude to families with young children. On my lstest visit they refused to heat up baby food for my 17 mth old granddaughter. She was left to go hungry which lead to her being in considerable disstress and crying throughout the visit. It spoilt my meal (which I was unable to finish due to tyring to calm her) and disturbed other diners. To make matters worse the baby change is in the disabled toilet which is kept locked. This is inhumane to begin with as no one should have to ask for a key to use the loo.

Very busy and seated in a very small area for a large table but believe there was a wedding. It was heaving but we were dealt with well by lovely server Archie.Lamb shank was amazing, gorgeous!Starters and puddings were average, puddings were also quite cold when we were expecting them heated.Generally a nice location, nice food and nice vibe. Just extremely busy and squished when we went, and could do with a little bit of improvement on the temperature and quality of some of the starters and puddings to get top stars!

Super friendly, obliging staff and great service. Really good selection of beers and nice food. Also a great place for a coffee if you're there early in the day. Plenty of space and seating and a nice, friendly, laid back atmosphere.

A classic gastro pub with a great menu choice. Had the burger and it was pretty tip top! It was a tincy little more expensive than you'd expect but the staff, decor and atmosphere was very inviting!

Fantastic chips! I didn't know what my fiance (who is from Frodsham) was going on about when she was constantly raving on about 'chips in the North'. This was until we travelled up from Hampshire. Wow. I now know exactly what she means - they are delicious and much better than anything we produce in the south.

Title: A Hearty Roast and Vibrant Atmosphere at The Queen's Head, FrodshamMy visit to The Queen's Head in Frodsham was a delightful experience that married the quintessential charm of a British pub with the welcoming buzz of a community hub. Arriving early evening on a Sunday, the timing was impeccable to witness the pub at its liveliest, with football being a collective spectacle for the patrons that day.Seated near the bar, the air was thick with anticipation and camaraderie brought on by the match. Yet, even with the heightened fervor of sports enthusiasts, the service remained attentive and efficient—a commendable feat when the staff had to navigate through the excited crowd. The highlight was undoubtedly the Sunday roast, a testament to the pub’s commitment to tradition and quality. Each element on the plate was cooked to perfection, from the succulent cuts of meat to the golden, crispy potatoes, and the rich, hearty gravy tying everything together. It was a meal that felt both homemade and gourmet, satisfying the soul as much as the appetite.Amidst the bustling atmosphere, the sense of community was palpable, with the harmonious blend of locals and visitors alike adding to the enjoyable experience. The ambiance was energized yet comfortable, making it an ideal spot for anyone looking to end their week on a high note.In summary, The Queen's Head delivered an experience that went beyond just dining out. It was a place where the food, atmosphere, and camaraderie spoke volumes of its standing as a beloved local establishment. It’s a definite recommendation for anyone in Frodsham looking for a good meal and a taste of local hospitality on a Sunday evening.
