Enjoyed this restaurant. The steaks were all well-cooked as ordered and delicious. The chunky fries also taste good and the wine was well-priced for the quality. Would recommend.Also, the service was great. The staff was welcoming, friendly and accommodating. It was the first time for me going to a steak house and they assisted me properly.

We visited prior to going to the Theatre. We were welcomed and shown to our table by the manager, at which point our waiter acknowledged us, said hello and that he’d be with us shortly. He was true to his word. Introduced himself as Dave and was excellent throughout our meal. He was courteous, witty, held good conversation and was excellent as a waiter. The food was also excellent despite them being busy. Dave asked us what we were doing and then said, don’t worry we have plenty of time for you to have a relaxing meal. He made sure that was the case. All in all a brilliant experience and Miller & Carter are lucky to have Dave working for them. Thank you!

Went last minute for an early dinner after some shopping. Service was great and friendly, plus the food was delicious. Generous portions (my eyes were definitely bigger than my belly!) and the wine was really tasty. I can definitely recommend the espresso martinis.

The atmosphere of the restaurant is really nice, the food is at it's best.The butcher's platter is way too big for two ☺️ and the Miller's Mango bomb is out of this world.Unfortunately out waitress Debroah (sorry if misspelled) was not so nice. Bad attitude and bad service. She was almost rude in her service. After a noisy clearing of the plates she sprayed my wife with when cleaning the table. You can see that she was not happy at all working here. Too bad for the Restaurant's image.Overall a good dinner, if wasn't for our waitress.Thank you.

My wife and I were served this eve Audrey, she was very welcoming, polite and attentive throughout our meal.Only 4 stars for the food as the blue cheese sauce was served in a big wooden bowl of lettuce, not quite what I expected, I assumed it would be in small bowl without half a lettuce.Only 4 stars for atmosphere as we were sat next to the window which delivered a cold down draught on our legsWould I eat here again… YES! But not next to the window in December and ask for the blue cheese sauce without any of the lettuce.

Loved the staff. Friendly, relaxed and responsive, they didn't hover but checked on us regularly.Felt like a good atmosphere amongst themselves.Food was absolutely lovely. The meals were a very good portion size and the wedge of lettuce was very interesting.Steaks were cooked specifically to our tastes and the accompaniments were lovely.Starters were lovely and a good range of choices.Range of non alcoholic cocktails was a treat to discover too!We were seated by the bar and the only thing that would put me off sitting here again was the bottle bin, several times throughout dinner there was a loud, disruptive clank as they were added. We would request a table away from here if possible next time.

Had a lovely meal in here on Saturday night. I would definitely recommend visiting Milker & Carter. The fillet steak and chateaubriand are nothing amazing. I also feel good value for money as you get a lot included with the sauce, salad wedge and side dish. The cheesy garlic bread sharer is also really nice.The half chicken, was a tad on the dry side apparently. Only small criticism would be that the restaurant was extremely warm, but it was quite a cold night, so maybe heating was turned up. Didn’t affect our meal though.

The food was mediocre not up to the standards to past visits. Ordered 2 Sirlions and 1 rump steak we got 2 rumps that were tuff and fatty and 1 sirloin which was not right. The price we paid for the food was very expensive for the food quality of the food we were served . There was no cucumber for the Children’s veg sticks which is ridiculous it’s a cucumber they are not hard to get the hummus was inedible it looked off and tasted off.The portions were smaller than past visits. The Nachos for 2 were smaller my Granddaughters starter portions were larger.The restaurant is looking tired and unloved.The Lady that served us was very nice.
