I stopped here for brunch when travelling to visit friends. I opted for a fried egg roll. The eggs were tasty, perfectly cooked and served on a morning roll. Service was prompt, attentive and courteous. Good to remember when I'm back in the area again.

Booked a table for lunch before we went to the Tivoli panto. My Mum quickly decided on the beef olives special, I chose one of the soups of the dat with a panini & my daughter had the chicken fillets. All our food tasted amazing & the staff are just so nice. We have been many a time and will definitely be back! X

My wife and her friend (sleep deprived mums) were made to feel extremely unwelcome by a member of staff who begrudgingly allowed them a table, as it seemed their prams were of significant inconvenience to the waitress. Towards the end of the meal, they were told to move as it was pre-booked".I will be raising this to your management in person to follow up on the complaint as my wife and her friend felt discriminated. If prams are frowned upon when the place was near empty

I had promised to take my sister to the Richmond Deli for lunch (got there and it was closed) she mentioned a few other places and we decided to try Thyme Out. Arrived there was 3 empty parking spaces, was shown to a seat (was very busy),she opted for the senior portion of scampi and fries (emptied the plate, said was lovely) washed down with a latte. I chose the mac n cheese, didn’t disappoint was lovely. We stayed and had a pot of tea each and a tray bake. Service from all 4 of the staff was great. Food was good. Will be back to try some of the specials.

Today myself, my dad and my two children had went to the cafe today for lunch( we tried) but was told that there was no tables and we should have booked, myself and my dad frequent this cafe regular and have never had to book, normally the staff are very pleasant but today one member of staff was very rude, she said no tables andwas basically told to leave, so we left and was disappointment so I said to my dad well let’s just wait for a table as we had driven a distance to come here , so I went back in with my two children and the member of staff came over and said can I help you again, I said we willJust wait for a table, she said no you can’t wait. I mentioned to her that she was very rude and she said oh well, so I said are you the owner of this place and she said that’s nothing to do with you and what does it matter. I was taken aback as the attitude was shocking, she was maybe stressed with it being busy but we are paying customers and the rudeness was uncalled for. I then said well we wouldn’t be back in future and the words from her was ok that’s fine we don’t care. Writing this as I hope nobody else get the rudeness for that member of staff.

Very surprised with this small place but with bags of quality.Home made soup a staple for us Scots was just how Mother used to make it....back it up with half sandwich was an utterly wholesome meal and hit the spot perfectly.Great friendly staff and the coffee was amazing also.....all in all tip top.Now my goto place for a quick and easy pit stop.

I ordered Coronation afternoon tea boxes and everything was out of this world. The scones, lemon drizzle cakes, fairy cakes and strawberry tarts were wonderful. The sandwiches we ordered as an extra were also excellent. My visitors had a wonderful feast! Thank you very much. Kathleen McAllister
