I love this store. Lovely, helpful staff. Books galore. If they don't have what you're looking for they will see if another branch has a copy or look into ordering one for you. I can spend hours in there, mentally spending hundreds (if not thousands) of pounds.

Just popped in for quick visit. Loads of titles to choose from /various sections too. Unfortunately didnt havevtime for a good browse. Good bookshop nonetheless.

Visited the store today to use the cafe and was really disappointed to see that the stairs leading to the cafe looked like it hadn't been cleaned in months. There was a lot of debris, dust and dirt on the stairs. The cafe seemed ok and clean. Nothing for me to eat as I am gluten, milk and soy Intolerant, however was able to get a drink as they had oat milk

Don't buy the tea, it is the weakest tea you will taste. Make sure you carry teabags with you

Visited Waterstones sunderland yesterday and just wanted to say a few words about the young lad, Jonny, who served us. He made myself and my grandson feel so special, was able to find exactly the books we wanted, and made the experience such fun. First class customer care as it should be
