The Bull

Had a great time here. Food was lovely and staff friendly. There wasn't a fish and chips on the menu, but when my husband asked for it they said : let me look if we still have some fish then we'll make you a fish and chips. And it was the best :)

We were staying at the nearby Fakenham racecourse and had walked into town looking for somewhere dog friendly to pop into for a drink on a cold November evening. We happened across the Bull much to our benefit. Recently coming under new ownership it offers a warm comfortable atmosphere with nice surroundings and an especially warm welcome for Poppy who was greeted with enthusiasm by all there especially the owner. We enjoyed a relaxing hour where Poppy was spoilt with treats and attention. Having only recently re-opened they currently only serve food at lunchtime but are hoping to expand this to evenings in the near future. From our brief visit I can only wish the new owners the very best of luck and we will be back if we visit this area again in the future.

If your looking for good food good service this is place . if your after cheap food poor beer and a iffy clientele look elsewhere. The bull . best pub in town.

A pub which seems as though it was recently reopened. Only sells drinks at present although a sign suggested that they may be selling food soon. Drinks include beers, lagers and spirits. Decor is nice with good lighting. Has a clean appearance.

Wow not to be treated like second hand citizens because we have a dog. Lovely welcoming staff. efficient service. Fab food. Wetherspoons across the road. Un welcoming forget it not a patch on this. on holiday in the area. Can recommend 100%.

We come here twice a year and love the place, great food, great beer, friendly people and always welcoming.

Great bar with open fire over winter months, filled with locals and music system.They serve food here also, which while cheap you get a great old plate full! The Sunday Roast was to die for, and only £8.00! (09/01/16)Welcoming to visitors and a favourite for visiting while the races are on.

Really good value for money. Great homemade roast and delicious desserts! Love the atmosphere here. We live in Suffolk & come back reguarly to visit family. Always seem to bump into some old familiar faces & friends - love it!

Phoned and booked a table for 8, on our way to Thursford. Landlady was most obliging, the food was hot, home made and delicious ,and a good price. Recommend cottage pie and fish n chips.

This is a warm cosy pub..Which allows dogs inside, the barman offered them water and treats, the prices are a bit dearer than spoons but not as bad as we thought and will definitely be going back. Also what we liked the beers and prices are on a chalkboard clearly seen with percentages shown..another bonus point
