Thorpe Trees

Dealt with this Company several times and it is true what they say, you never know how good a Company is until you have a problem. Purchased 2 Silver Birch trees in late 2021 to be delivered the same year. Informed that they would not be delivered when stated due to lifting problems due to weather conditions. Delivered early 2022 as bear root. Planted out but one only developed a few leaves. As I am still a novice gardener I thought that this was due to the fact that it had only just been planted. This year (2023) has come and the other one has just started to develop leaves but this one I have been advised is dead. Telephoned Thorpe Trees and spoke to a gentleman who said as the tree is over 15 months only there is nothing he can do, even though I offered to send him photos and informed him of the aforementioned. He was not interested. It also looks like from his voice reaction that the one that has a few leaves on it will end up dying! My garden is old farmland for goodness sake!! Will never deal with this Company again.
