This solicitor did not represent me but rather the person buying my property.My property is two bed flat, no chain, no tenants in it, has been empty and ready for exchange since the end of November, however the buyers solicitors have turned the selling process into a nightmare.They never reply to emails, are never available to take calls. They are constantly ‘in meetings until the close of play today’ but vow to ‘call back another day’ which never happens. They repeated lie about not receiving emails and calls.They repeatedly claim there are no further queries to be made then do nothing for two weeks before making further queries (most of which are either ridiculous or are requests for things already sent to them months earlier.They appear to have no grasp on the selling situation which has frustrated the seller and buyer in this situation who is desperate to get into his new (first time property) and reports all the same communication experiences my solicitor has reported.I am now in the 5th month of this very simple sale and all they keep doing is stalling for time frustrating everyone involved.I am a professional who has sold many properties before and never experienced anything like this.....in this experienced persons view you would be made to use this solicitors, there are so many cheaper, more efficient ones out there!
