The Hound Lounge

I was blown away from the moment I first walked into the grounds of the Hound Lounge. I have known Lindsay for a number of years and was fortunate to have her support on training when I got my first greyhound. Sighthounds are just so different from other “normal” dogs and Lindsay knows how they tick, she gets the need for gentle but firm guidance, and if I ever need my dogs to stay somewhere without me, the Hound Lounge is right up there. The environment is a real home from home - in fact, better than my dogs are used to at ours! Here, they have superb, safe, enclosed grounds and a whole hound house to kick back in. This year I had to say goodbye to Rena, the greyhound that prompted me meeting Lindsay in the first place. Since Rena passed, a whippet puppy has come into my life and that has been a whirlwind for which I wasn’t prepared. Lindsay has been on hand with useful advice, reassurance and simply straight talk that it’s all ok and he’s supposed to be mad because he’s a puppy and that’s what puppies are. Top quality care at a top quality establishment - you couldn’t want better for your hounds.

The only place I would trust with Peggy, our very nervous greyhound. We travel from Wolverhampton as we know she is safe here when we go away. Sighthounds are a unique breed and Lindsay really knows her stuff, with plenty of helpful advice.
