Winchester Cattery

Left my cat with Wendy for 10 nights in July 2018. Visited Wendy whilst looking for a cattery and instantly got a lovely warm feeling. This was the first time i had left my cat and i was very anxious. Wendy was wonderful and totally put my mind at ease. It was clear she really cared for the cats she looked after. Got lovely updates. Adam my cat seemed very content and happy when i went to collect him. A very positive experience. Wendy talked about Adams wee habits and it was clear she spent time with him. It was the first time that our cat was going to be left at cattery and we were away for 3 weeks so we wanted to make sure that we found somewhere that we were happy with. We looked round 6 businesses and there were things that we didn’t like about all of them. As soon as we got to Winchester Cattery we knew that we had found a special place. Wendy was so friendly and you can tell that she is a cat lover who is focused on the well being of the cats in her care. The prices are very reasonable and as the cattery is so small the cats all get personal attention & have lovely rooms, some with windows to the outside. We had no hesitation in making a booking. All the time that we were away we had updates and photos, which was much appreciated, and when we went to collect our cat he was well cared for and happy. We would highly recommend the Winchester Cattery. If you want your cat to have the best care while you are away this is the place.Thank you so much

Cannot fault the Cattery facilities and Wendy. Hate leaving my little one but bringing him here puts my mind at rest! Wendy is great and you can tell she really cares about the cats staying with her. She has her own animals and genuinely understands how they are part of the family!He always comes back content and well groomed. Wendy provides updates if you like them. Would recommend to anyone needing somewhere for their cat to stay whilst away they will definitely be well looked after!!

Absolutely fantastic experience! I usually get very nervous leaving my cat behind but Winchester Cattery made everything so easy. Receiving photos and texts to reassure you they have settled. Wendy is amazing with all the cats and treats them as her own. Would highly recommend.

We have just collected our 2 cats from their 1st stay with Wendy who is definately a cat loving friendly lady with an excellent homely, clean, comfy cattery especially for 1 of our nervous cats who seems the most relaxed he's ever been. I recently left my two cats here for two weeks. I was very apprehensive as I hadn't left them with anyone before, therefore I researched lots of places before being recommended Winchester by a colleague. On a preliminary visit to view the cattery(as I had done with many others), I instantly knew that this was the one. The owner, Wendy, is clearly a cat lover and nothing was too much trouble. The country side setting is amazing, and I was able to choose which chalet I wanted for my cats. Whilst on holiday, Wendy sent me regular updates+photos which was extremely comforting. On our return, I found the cats clean, happy+well nourished. The fact that the price tariff is extremely reasonable with no hidden costs or extra charges for cuddles,(yes, many other businesses do this),was a welcome and added bonus. I would highly recommend Winchester cattery to anyone+my two will definitely be returning.

I've used Winchester Cattery several times. They always do a great job of looking after my cat, making sure she is as happy and comfortable as possible. Wendy and her family spend a lot of time playing with the cats as well as the basic duties of feeding them and changing their litter. They also sprinkle cat nip in their kennel area to help them relax, with plenty of Dreamies for treats of course. My cat has stayed at other places, where they don't have as much time to spend with her due to having too many to look after. As Winchester Cattery is small, they can focus on each animal much more. Prices are very reasonable, Wendy is always friendly and welcoming. I highly recommend Winchester Cattery! You'll have peace of mind letting your beloved pet stay there.

Absolutely fabulous..we were nervous about leaving our fluffy Eliza amywhere..Shes been at Winchester..or as we say with aunty Wendy" 5 times now..great setting

Wendy was brilliant. She looked after my 2 cats for over 2 weeks and they were well looked after and I even got a few updates from them whilst I was away. I would not hesitate to use Winchester cattery again in the future
