I watched a video of the car I was interested in and it was not your typical quick walk around. It was clear and well filmed. After viewing this I phoned the garage to enquire about the car. Symon was very polite and couldn't be more helpful. I explained that I would be using the vehicle to undertake a long drive into Europe. Symon advised me that the vehicle had just been serviced. He was not evasive and answered all my questions to my satisfaction. I therefore decided to make the more than 500 mile round trip to view the vehicle. I was not disappointed when I saw the car as Symon had described it accurately. I carried out a very thorough inspection including a Block Test and was left completely alone throughout this process. We had already agreed that the cambelt and water pump would be replaced for which I would pay for the parts only. I traded in my vehicle as a part exchange and the deal was done. Symon struck me as a very honest decent chap and although I purchased this vehicle back in June this year I am only now getting around to writing the review as I thought readers might like to know that my review comes after returning from my European journey which put the car through it's paces and I have to say it was faultless. On one day alone I drove just over 775 miles and completed over 4200 miles on my journey altogether. I travelled through seven European countries on my way back home. Absolutely no issues whatsoever. This vehicle never let me down and the air conditioning was brilliant which can be an issue with some vehicles because of leaking systems or failure to have them re-gassed. The engine always felt strong and pulled in top gear from low revs so no clutch problems. Able to maintain 130kph toll road speeds all day. Plenty more in reserve but no need to use really. Would therefore definitely recommend Symon James Cars to anyone and yes I would buy from this garage again without hesitation.
