Riverside Meadows Caravan Park

Lovely site,quiet clean and a lovely little bar and shop.

A truly beautiful place, extremely helpful staff, they couldn't help enough even to go so far as to help with the awning!! Club house reasonably priced toilets and showers nipping clean, only ten minutes walk away from the center of town, well kept pitches . Will definitely be coming back soon

Excellent park not to commercialised frendly helpful staff.

Visited this year after working there last year, staff doing a good job as always, shame the company is breaking health and safety regarding machinery.Been reported for saftey reasons.

We are nearing the end of our first seasonal tourer pitch here, and have not hesitated at renewing for next year.The shower and toilet block are great and well serviced.The shop has just enough to keep you going if you've forgotten something and can't be bothered going into town.The club house is great, quiet during the week but when the turns and bingo are on at the weekend it's busy with a good atmosphere.Launderette is fine, works well and my kids love the games room.It's an easy walk to town which we love.The park is immaculate all times and every member of staff have been friendly and helpful.I can't think of anything bad to say, we just love coming here and have made some good friends along the way.

I love it here. Drinks not cheap in bar but so peaceful with lovely walks. Short distance into ripon centre.

When booking staff were very particular and obstructive, demanding EXACT dimensions of the tents we were taking, despite informing them that they were four man tents. On arrival we were greeted by the reception staff, who did not know anything about the workings of the campsite. We were taken to our 'pitch'......behind the toilet block where the waste disposal point was. It was directly under large trees and our tent was damaged by tree sap and large amounts of bird droppings. (note: this is not a campsite set up to cater for tents, it is for static and touring caravans, tents are squeezed into the back space where caravans would not fit just to make an extra bit of cash). With the tent being pitched behind the toilet block the lights flood lit the tents the entire night. Staff are less than helpful. Barriers on the site were lowered at 9pm and despite the booklet saying passes could be acquired from reception at a £10 deposit we were told we could not have one. We were advised that if we did stay out past 9pm we had to knock on the staff building to be let back in. Felt like this was a massive inconvenience. All in all if you did not want to stay on the site for the entertainment and you were not a regular weekender at this site....you were not very welcome!summary: Wouldn't go back to this site, very disappointed. Not worth the money.

Excellent and well run holiday park. Always kept spotless.
