Busy Little Bees Nursery

My opinion has been changed since January 2019Update: While I had no concern with all the nursery nurses, unfortunately, I am not happy with the new management as I felt my daughter was not wanted due to her special needs. Therefore the one star is only for them...I would not recommend if your child has additional needs because the management don't know how to ''manage'' it.

I didn't have a great experience with busy bee's nursery especially how they treated my child at the time with their learning difficulties and autism. It wasn't until I spoke to the management and she told me that my child would be placed with the babies room from 0-6 months. I was absolutely disgusted . My child was 2 at the time how was my child even going to learn and prosper by being put in a room with babies it just felt like they couldn't be bothered as it was more work for them. It was good lesson for me don't be fooled at thinking a nursery is great just because it looks good from the outside. Always do your research on a nursery's especially if you have a child with additional needs. I'm glad I took my child out and put them in a better nursery in the end. There is a reason why this nursery has low score.

Absolutely lovely nursery, since the nursery has changed management I cannot rate them high enough. They've been amazing with my daughter and she has come along so much, they were so supportive while potty training and have been brilliant ever since. Her confidence has shot up and they have a genuine interest in how she is getting on and they're really caring. I'm excited for my son to start, and enjoy it just as much as my daughter has! X

I can not recommend this nursery enough!!!Throughout the unusual circumstances of lockdown, communication was still maintained- I was contacted numerous times to check if my daughter and my myself were ok. Different activities were also suggested to stimulate my bored 2 year old, this helped massively.The professional manner of ALL staff ensured that upon returning to the nursery, my daughter settled back into the nursery routine with ease and I have noticed a vast improvement in her skills and her manners.My daughter is constantly talking about activities which she has carried out while in nursery and I often find her trying to recreate these activities at home. The online portal enables me to view pictures of what she has being doing through out the day... this is something I particularly enjoy, as it enables me to ask questions and talk to her about her day.My son (2nd child) has just started the nursery, and while I wasn’t able to carry out the normal settling in procedures (due to government guidelines) the staff have been incredible... what is, even in normal circumstances, a very difficult time has been made so much easier by all staff, nothing is too much trouble.The atmosphere from the children and staff only reinforce positive and nurturing environment.

Really nice place. Fun and caring. Some of the mums kinda ruin it by being cliquey and unwelcoming.

My daughter has attended Busy Little Bees since she was 6 months old. She has just left to start reception aged 4. I literally could not of picked a better nursery, she was extremely well looked after and she really enjoyed her time there. I never had any issues or concerns, and the staff are extremley caring. She has thrived in such a positive environment. Highly recommend.

Absolutely appalled with this nursery they neglected my child!On the first day of induction they let him fall on his face and didn't even say sorry all I got was oh give him to mom so I had to calm him down.On the second day I left him there for 2 hours 45 mins I picked him up early they said he had a nap which I highly doubt as they lost his dummy and couldn't find it then they finally found it in the toy box. Whilst the girl was trying to find his dummy she grabbed a child arm who was sleeping in the chair to see if the dummy was behind her I was very mortified when I saw this.They also neglected my child never gave him his feed his only 7 months old!!when I arrived there I hurd a child screaming and it was my son he was in the bouncer screaming like crazy all sweaty and red my son DOES NOT SCREAM LIKE THAT FOR NO REASON.Today I was on the phone to the manager and she even lied about my boys feed she said the girls was sorting out his feed as he woke up at 3.20 apparently.(he doesn't sleep without his dummy) Which was aloud of lies because I picked him up at 3.45 and I saw one of the girls go into my bag and get his bottle!!!! WHY LIE??? I WAS THERE! What Type of manager lies to you. Makes me wonder what goes in behind closed doors. The girl who gave me his bottle even said be careful as she's just got it out The kettle.I find this nursery disgraceful and the manager who lied to me I find that absolutely shocking that she runs the place. This nursery should be shut down they don't care for children they neglect them.Also when I was looking around the nursery I noticed two children with extremely snotty noses NO ONE Cleaned them which I felt disgusted. At the end of the show round I said I've got one concern and brought up those two children. The lady said they do normally get cleaned.On the induction day I had to ask one of the staff members to clean a child's nose I shouldn't have to ask them to do that they should be doing it. To think that people actually leave there children in this horrid place is beyond me.

I have never had any problems with the Nursery. Both my children have been here and have really enjoyed their time.They do lots of fun activities and i always feel I am kept in the loop with what they have done.Great friendly staff.

My little one enjoys nursery here and has a good bond with the staff, nursery has had a refurb and it looks great and lots of creative things for the children to do. I feel they do a Wide range of activities and I can see my child beaming at the end of the day.

My daughter has been attending this nursery since last September and loves going each week. The staff are friendly and helpful and have offered a good balance between learning and play. My daughter has loved both managers new and old and I have had no concerns over her welfare. Whenever there was any notice of health issues the nursery have always rang me to inform me of anything they felt needed raising and have always been courteous and helpful. In particular my daughter has bonded well with Sumaaya and Hafsa who have often re-fixed her hair for her. She does a ‘happy dance’ when she knows these two ladies are in work which I think is adorable. Anne Marie has also been very attentive and has given detailed feedback about how my daughter has been whilst at the nursery. Personally I would recommend the nursery and have found their approach to the recent Covid situation as very professional.
