Tenref Ltd

To begin with Tenref were an excellent company to work with and we had no problems, but something has changed.I have been trying to speak to a director at the company for over a month and have called more than 10 times and have left messages which i have been assured have been passed on.To date i have not received a call back to say i am disappointed is an understatement.Do not use this company as they will promise you the world and not deliver.

Would never use this company again. Extremely unprofessional, unapproachable, spent months chasing them for a claim. Numerous calls went unanswered and so did emails. Sold us a policy month after it went into liquidation. Only got resolved when external regulatory bodies got involved.

Worst company ever we have been waitin for our rent guafantee payout since april and itis now September. Not sure how this is allowed considering we paid for a service and they have taken 5 months to deliver. Will be reporting this company for fraud.

I can’t necessarily understand the negative reviews; they may well have been as a result of a clash of some sort and the reviews were posted directly after. I don’t feel it’s a fair reflection of Tenref. They were great with us, tirelessly answering all phone calls— it never seemed to have been too much for them. They communicated with understanding, clarity yet empathetic to any concerns we had. We can’t praise Sophie and Dominique enough. Having used other companies.. Tenrefs system is straightforward, less convoluted and bears in mind the end user which is ultimately what a system should be doing. I think all high street agents should use their system.

They did not solve my problem as I needed. they did not reach me by email. they just left a message in the voice box asking, so it delayed my references a lot. after all, they didn’t approve my references, and I have the means to prove my income. Worst reference company.

Tenref have been a pleasure to deal with and provided me and my partner an outstanding fast service! Would highly recommend and be happy use again in the future

Had to go with tenref through the estate agent im renting from. As im a student i needed a guarantor, who failed the check. (which wasn't the issue). The estate agents told me to ring tenref as there was a problem with my guarantors reference. Every time i rang they said everything was fine and there was no problem, i would then get back to the estate agents telling them its all fine, this carried on for a month and im now at the stage where i have no time to find a new guarantor and have had to pay the years rent in full, which has crippled me financially. Awful service and communication, if i had been told they failed the check i could have got a new guarantor. Avoid heavily.
